Quote from andyb1982 : The thing I enjoyed the most was you could just arrive and drive.
I'd like to get back on when I get time now, but can't seem to find any servers with rotating tracks and a choice of cars, maybe even a points system?
Does anything like the above exist anymore!?

DeadMenRacing have a week of short races (around 10 min) each night, which culminates in a one hour race on Thursday evening and then the car and track combo is changed for the following week.
Airio is used for points scoring during the week and they have their own standings for the one hour race.

This week its FOX@SO6 and next week its the XRG@?
All welcome, although the server goes private during qualifying for the duration of the one hour race.

Still knocking spots off the youngsters and I was born 20th March 1942. For the math challenged, that makes me 69 and I race on DeadMenRacing (how apt) nearly every night. I'm not that slow and I'm sure GreyBull (Mr Y Laprevotte) will not mind me mentioning that I came first to his second in a one hour race recently and he aint no slouch.
Doorman IIRC is a year older, rarely on LFS but still giving it the bifters on iRacing & other sims

Qualifying (20 minutes) begins promptly at 2000hrs UTC
The one hour race starts a 2030 UTC giving ample time to fill fuel tank and glasses and empty bladder
The server is private from just before qualy, so pop along to our website www.deadmen.co.uk to register on our forum and obtain server password, just in case you have the misfortune to disco before the race.
Our motto is CLEAN:FAIR:FUN and we welcome any driver who abides by those sentiments no matter what their ability.
You'll be most welcome

Although my G25 was out of its 2 year warranty, Logitech offered to replace with a G27 after pedal pots started playing up.
The whole procedure from first contact, took about 10 days.
The G25 went to a fellow LFS player who (despite its inconsistencies) says its 100% better than his Siatek.
I cant recommend Logitech enough.

Saw you on DeadMenRacing yesterday. Welcome. You did OK on a difficult combo (RAC/Blackwood)

1984 - REVS, a Formula 3 simulator that debuted on the BBC Micro platform in 1984. Unbelievably this was written in less than 32kb and was as smooth as silk. Happy memories

Why on earth would you need to to password protect something on LFS Remote? What deviation is going on behind closed doors? Tried to look at them on LFS Remote ( I mean, what harm could I do?) but needed a password. Tried t o s s e r s but it wouldnt work.

Scenario: 10 Lap Race at SO5R, Pit compulsory. Joined late.
I followed the leader over the line after he had completed the 10 laps and the screen showed that I had ‘FINISHED 6/10’.
The leader was disqualified for not pitting. My username and times did not appear in the race results display. After the rest of the field finished, I completed a further lap and my position and fastest lap was then displayed.
I thought it was normal for the display to record all but the finish position until all participants had completed the course and then give the final placing
