These cars rubber band a lot. If you watch the race you'll see gaps stretch out then condense really quickly. Sometimes someone can gain over half a second just within one corner

Idk if that's because the drivers still haven't figured out how to conserve efficiently with the cars yet or if that's just the nature of these kinds of battery racing but by the end of the race Prost should he aware enough to know Heidfeld is coming. Heidfeld looked close enough imo to see that he would have dived

The VWS and new tyre model is a sore spot for many people. Mainly because it's been about half a decade. So whether there's people that think that's ridiculous or people who think the complainers are brats, it's been a point of contention for a lot of people. It's a good thing you're new here. Lotsa good content to enjoy. Over the long years some of us have become bitter, others have hardened their inner affinity for this little game. LFS won't die. If it remains exactly the same as it is now for the next 10 years the same people playing and defending it now will still be playing it. But it's not really growing either.

I'm still waiting for a dynamic track conditions like tyres rubbering in the track or a more sensitive and realistic damage model

Indeed the DD2 skins are very nice but I've always liked the DD1 skins a little better. I was hoping we could have a complete skinpack for them. Would anyone know how Disposable did them? Did he just re-vector them based on the old PS1 game textures?

Out of curiosity... how did Disposable exactly recreate these skins in high definition? I've done my fair share of skinning myself. Perhaps I can take up the project?

Yup, both di Resta and Perez have stated their interest in IndyCar. Actually a bunch of Euro ladder drivers have mentioned it.


Amongst di Resta and Perez, Antonio Felix de Costa, Narain Karthikeyan, Karun Chandhok, and Sam Bird have all expressed interest in moving over. Personally I think di Resta, Bird, and Perez would be fantastic additions and would greatly strengthen the indy field

Starting off a little early with the annoucement of two new rookies to the 2014 season: Carlos Munoz and Mikhail Aleshin.

The surprise sign of the year so far has to go to Aleshin. I thought and outside chance to get into IndyCar would be Narain Karthikeyan or Sam Bird but Aleshin really came out of nowhere (source: http://www.spmindycar.com/mikh ... r-in-2014-indycar-season/)

Looks to be an interesting season next year... Luca Filippi is supposedly close to signing with BHA and Sage Karam looks likely to move into IndyCar as well. Only thing not really that exciting is the 2014 schedule but it is noted that 2014 is meant to be a transitional year for 2015: full aero kits and more international venues.

Would rather the seat stayed open for Carlos Munoz. I doubt penske would have grabbed a rookie so I'm fine with Montoya filling in Penske.

IndyCar needs some new faces tho. Hoping to see Luca, Carlos, and maybe Sage and Peter as well. That would make a great rookie line up unlike just Vautier this year

I think Jacques Villeneuve would have had an easier time getting his champ than Sebastian Vettel right now :P Let's not pretend that Vettel has some kind of secret tech that no other car (including Webber) has.
