Well I wouldn't mind no licenses or only fictional tracks. I am interested in this game as far the physics would be a little bit advanced and not as arcardish as other titles including RR2. If that is, I'd definitely buy it.
I thought of the way it's done in other games or I.e. in forums here. I just think it is handy to see where a player is from ASAP when you want to text him so you know what language to use. Without typing in some commands, then search him in this list, then click on "close". If you know what I mean
Is actually a good point, but I think it would be little more comfortable too see it that way as it don't block half of the screen I.e. while driving. Also if there are servers without that !pl function (which is quite rare). Would be nice but for me is not as prior than new physics or in the best case S3
I don't know if it was suggested before, but I would like to see the country's flags next to drivers name in the conns list. Would be a blast if that could somehow be implemented in the game!
Well you can drive with wind when you do the following:
1. Choose no wind then start session
2. Type in the chatbox: /wind=1 (or 2 for more, 0 for none)
With the skill of the ais from different pcs I think that it's difficulty for each clients car so when you set it on pro and your buddy on amateur, your cars will be faster.
Hope that helped a bit
That is just to adjust the field of view when using multiple monitors. But this setting is recommended to get the best results. May I ask, how they stand, do you want the ingame steeringwheel on one monitor and the other one to look out of your car on the right / left? Or you want the ingame wheel in the exact middle of both, so it is divided be the screenborders?
Well I found another interesting thing related to that brighter tarmac (Screen). It looks weird when two streets cross. It's just that I've never (or rarely) seen something like this in the middle so it feels kinda weird to me Again all matter of taste.
With the grass you are right sand could mess it a little bit up. Still shouldn't be like sand over the track, but that little bit that there already is maybe could be a little bit larger so less grass -> more sand. But I actually don't know how difficult that is so not sure if that's possible so all up to you
First of all thanks Lynce for this great pack. Makes LFS look quite better.
But what I don't like much at FE are the tarmac textures which look too perfect and new. Due to the fact that FE is at beach and so on a (very) little bit sand at the edge would be great or that the road looks a bit more older. I also don't like the brighter tarmac in the middle of the street, added screen to clear it a bit.
Of course all a matter of taste and it is still your project, just wanted to show my opinion Keep up the good work!
Playing on 3 screens, for those who have problems with sofhtth try 108b, the newest version doesn't work because it has no DX8 file and LFS is DX8 as far as I know
