im bumping this thread, as i'm still having no luck. i tried disabling QoS and still no go

i tried on other computers here at home and it just times out while trying to connect. the thing is, i can see it in the server list only through lfsworld.net but not in game, also in lfs world i can view the relay and watch the cars live going round the track, so why can't i join the actual server?

i think it must be some setting in our router since its happening on all pc's. i really want to get this fixed, any help would be greatly appreciated!

hey mate aussie here! my user is lucassot if ya wanna race, though i usually spend most my time on overseas servers to race on populated servers. same position as you, only thing i got s2 early this year and had been on demo couple years before that. getting s2 is the best thing i have done!

this is annoying now, now i can connect to the servers. but this was before i read your message. im on wireless connection, have good strength and never have problems with lag etc. i noticed though, when a laptop in the house was using our connection the problems were happening, after it had logged off i restarted my router and now i can join. could be some sort of wireless problem with more than 1 connection.

if it comes up again ill try disabling QOS!

must just be some sort of network setting which i'd need to enable or disable since i can sometimes join on there and other times i cant.

just tried it but problem persists, thanks for that though. its just odd, any other server i can join without any problems. i remember ages ago few people had same issue with joining CTRA servers but not sure whether they got around it or not

nope nothing like that, even when i do (which is hardly ever) i stop any of that when playing games on the net

i can join any server no problems. but with any of the (FM) servers i get stuck on 'connecting' then getting 'connect timeout' or the 'clientconnect' error. also i can see the servers listed in lfsworld but not in the game on the server browser. does anyone have (FM) server addresses so i can try ping them?

i have ports forwarded and no software firewalls on. i can join these servers sometimes and other times it just hangs. any ideas how to fix this? im running a billion router. just find it strange, its really annoying. surely some others have had similar issues?

im desperate to get this fixed!

ive read through a few posts about getting the high res sky textures to work, you are meant to basically put them in data/pic folder. but these posts are old, from 2006 and 2007.

anyway, i downloaded these textures and did what it said, but they dont work. does anyone know if anything different is meant to be done for patch z to get the sky textures working?

and lastly, i got the high res pack installer from ages ago when i used to play the demo, and again now with patch z it has some issues with some newer interiors. is there any way to fix this or replace some of the non-compatible patch z stuff?

glad a server like this is up and running.

ctra was a big reason i got my s2 licence, because of populated RACING servers, now there might be not even 3 or 4 people racing on a server, populated ones are drift / cruise

had a race today on NDR and had great racing fun, hope the server stays online!

i enjoyed this video, probably because its hard for me to find them. i wanna be in league races one day heh

is there any way to keep live for G15 turned on like other lcd mods?

because each time i run LFS i gotta click the Live for G15.exe, whereas other mods run when an application is turned on, or is always turned on in the lcd manager.

any help to keep the exe on when necessary would be great

i purchased a g25 yesterday after many years of playing the LFS demo and the other week getting S2 heh

i should be receiving it by wednesday and just wanna know if there is anything i need to do in advanced from getting it, like should i get newer drivers than whats in the box, little problems ill face, anything that i need to know that will make things easier when im setting up the wheel

im from south australia, 24 years old. just came back from overseas!

i have finally got myself a s2 licence after many years of playing just the demo i first played this simulator on and off a few months after the first ever release of LFS.

i am liking it so far, trying to learn new cars & tracks. the only problem is when its peak time for me, it isnt for the majority of the world so its a bit harder to find populated servers. but i have had a blast with a few people on CTRA servers so far, only need a handful for a good race!

i hope to learn more and get really involved with the LFS community, especially after playing the demo for many years
