agreed, skipping setup optimization would save a lot of time when preparing for league races
it could work well with an general race setup like race_s for road cars and [hard track] for racecars
it's simple really, i opened HEL rendering kit from this post
very carefully mapped UVs to an image containing three different pics of the helmet i found on fb
baked it to a new image using original UV maps and fixed the result a little in gimp
my friend made a tutorial on baking, you can try it yourself
