Hi, accidentally saw this topic..
I'm running remote Dedicated LFS server @ Linux.
Will explain how to do this.

1. To run LFS need Wine (so install it if you don't have yet)
2. Go to LFSserver folder: cd <folder_name>
3. Config must be: /dedicated=invisible
4. LFS server command to run:
screen wineconsole --backend=curses LFS.exe /cfg=setup.cfg
After this command lfs server console window will apper on ssh console.
To close("minimize") this window need to type: CTRL+A,CTRL+D, then you will return to linux console.
For closing(terminating) this window use: CTRL+C or kill <PID> or kill -9 <PID>

After running LFS server you can look all running processes and PID's typing: ps x

If you get an error like this:
ALSA lib seq_hw.c:457: (snd_seq_hw_open) open /dev/snd/seq failed: No such file or directory
Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded.
Make sure that your X server is running and that $DISPLAY is set correctly.

It means that wine cannot load sound MIDI drivers. Why midi? - because LFS server config was bad and LFS forced to show an error(message+loading MIDI sound for windows)
Solution: try to check your setup.cfg

Not exactly, all ways drifting/racing u will gain skill. And no matter on what skill u are now. You will get better! Same for drifters and racers.

For sure a drifter can't drive his ferrari as fast as a pro driver in the same ferrari. If you think they can then you have seriously never tried going for a world record.

Let us suppose that this is true, but u cant say that drifter cant race very good.
(IMHO, drifter must be a "racer" too.. and if he is a good racer, then probably he can fight for a world record and probably will win) Any way, it depends on a racer and no more flame need here.

I'm playing LFS for a year. Most of all i like drifting. I have 200sx and doing same thing in RL like in LFS. I could say LFS skills really helps in controling the car.. LFS was first steps into drifting.. =]

ps: I bought S2 license only to DRIFT all the time in LFS. Its so fun to do it with friends, and would be great to have these cars which can be used not only for drift, but and race!!.
Need to think that way - there are not only one me who drifts more then race etc.. so these cars must be.
pps: no need special tracks for drifting just would be great to have a software to create own track. (not in a square, but real race track)
