Skywalker showed up on [AA] Blackwood FBM again last night. So changing all our server passwords didn't appear to work then.

Scawen - I have the Airio and server logs from yesterday when Anakin Skywalker connected to our server. I have tried to pm you but... "Scawen has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her."

I don't really want to post the links to our full log files on a public forum but I've pulled out the connection attempts here (don't really tell you much I'm afraid). If you want the full logs then let me know how I can send the download links to you.

I thought this issue had been fixed with the new 0.6E patch? Obviously there are some determined people out there.

I look after the AA demo servers now along with rane_nbg, but as far as I know nobody is maintaining Airio other than EQWorry himself. He doesn't appear much online any more so nobody really knows whether he will fix some of the issues or not. I will try and get a message to him but he doesn't usually respond.

Hi - I now look after the [AA] servers for EQ Worry since he is not so active any more, and today we have noticed a new server called "[AA] Amsterdam Racing KEYS ONLY" appear in the server list which is nothing to do with our AirAttack team.

It looks like this previous thread from EQWorry last year wasn't very conclusive in terms of action we could take to protect our brand and avoid any confusion, but if anyone has any *new* suggestions not already covered in this thread on how to deal with this, it would be appreciated.

Otherwise, please just be aware that this server is nothing to do with [AA].

Yes, we have logs, but they are very big so to investigate anything would require more information such as usernames involved and specifc dates/times of any incidents. Also, they would only show chat and voteban actions, not what actually happened on the track. Some general advice for you - if you are getting a bad reaction to announcing the fact you are new, then why do it? We have many newbies but also some experienced racers online, and we need to try to get along. Also, if people are regularly vote-banning you, then there must be some reason. If you have caused an incident then rather than saying "" which kind of indicates you think it's funny, then try "sorry" instead. Even as a more experienced racer, I have this on one of my wheel buttons and will always use it if I so much as make light contact with someone else BEFORE they have a chance to write an angry message. It defuses a lot of situations.

Regarding admins, we have too many as it is. Whenever I check there is normally one online somewhere. But however many we have, it's impossible to guarantee there will be one online 24 hours a day!

If this was on Air Attack servers, then the system prevents much less experienced people voting against the higher experienced/safer drivers. Votebans are automatically cancelled in this scenario and if the votes continue, then the voter himself is kicked. Oh, one more thing to mention which I feel would improve future races - if you can continue after a crash or incident, then you should, otherwise it devalues the race for others still taking part. Perhaps we should increase penalties for people spectating/disconnecting during the race and increase points awarded to cover all finishing positions?

This race, I started 6th, got caught up in the turn 1 incident and emerged 9th, then had a spin whilst defending position at the slow downhill right-hander, which put me into last place, but managed to recover to finish 5th (thanks to a few drop-outs).

So yes, a big thanks to all involved in this season - was my first attempt at any kind of non-demo racing (not to mention AirAttack team's debut in this series) and I was happy to improve as the season went along. A few too many mistakes and I fear I will never be as quick as some, but looking forward to next season already.

NDR.MiniFBM Server appears to have gone back to Blackwood reverse and is asking for a password. Maybe because the server crashed last night? Can this be set back to the next race circuit please? Thanks.

True - and sorry - but there was some bad driving from several others involved there who could easily have avoided the further incidents that you drove into.

I got hit from behind a couple of times also - someone had done the same to me a few corners previously which is why I was so keen to get by! Was one of those races I think. Also, I see you got hit again by someone else after I touched you too - unlucky. Apologies again.

Sorry to Cagas (I think). I'd been pushed off myself a lap earlier, was being pressured from behind, had faster pace through the final turn and I nudged you - apologies again.

Hi - I don't know much about packet priority and suchlike, but I am using BT Infiniti myself with LFS and it seems fine. Speed test shows I get 38Mb uplolad and about 8Mb download speeds. A lot faster than I used to get with Sky previously, but honestly, don't notice a huge amount of difference.
