just finished my latest video, so i'd love to hear some comments and even better, improvement suggestions!
I'm not very good at adding special effects so i try to keep the videos as simple as possible. Just some fast moving pictures with a nice piece of music.
The video is meant to be kind of a team promo for my team, the Hellenic Racing Team.
Thank you for updating Flipcams Fl!p. First thing i checked when i installed Z25 was the functionality of Flipcams :P. I was freaking out when i realised it wasn't working, i'm glad you updated it.
For some reason its not working with my Z25 LFS though.
Error: cannot determine the current view. Make sure LFS´s data folder contain the "views" folder and four "views_cam*" folders.
This is what i get at startup and also if i try to hit the shortcut to change the cam. typing in /run fc_runCam1 in the chat also gives me the same error message.
of course the folders mentioned in the error message do exist. Any suggestions?
i recently bought some hardware and would like to start uploading LFS Videos on Youtube in HD Quality now.
I use the latest version of Fraps for recording in full resolution (1280x720) @ 30 FPS. My LFS is also set on 1280x720x16bit (32 bit is killing my fps really badly for some reason) with 8x anti-aliasing and 16x anisotropic filtering while recording.
I render the footage in Vegas Movie Studio Platinum 9.0 which is also configured to 1280x720(i ve tried all diferrent kinds of formats wmv,avi,mp4). Uploading the rendered footage on Youtube pretty much gives me the same result regardless of the format i choose.
The exact same file delivers a much nicer Quality on Vimeo.
However i'd like to use Youtube because its much more accesible for everyone.
Ive seen loads of incredibly high quality HD Vids on Youtube, l this one
and this one for instance.
i've seen lots of youtube tutorials on how to create HD Vids with Vegas. I've also read and adapted the "best formats for youtube" page on youtube itself.
Can you give me any hints on how to improve the quality on youtube?
Got the same Problem and had my teammates sending me the skins manually in order to fix it. Any word from the devs? I really depend on the skins for video editing
since we are close to the release of the Logitech G27, i'd buy the license first and wait for the G25 prices to drop. I think the G25 is gonna be very good value for money. However you really need both (License and Wheel), but you will be rewarded with hours and hours of endless fun
While we are on the subject Goo, any chance of a trade-in deal for G25 owners? ( i'm pretty sure this is not going to happen so this is a veeeeery naiv question, but it just have to ask)
well we dont have a price for the G27 yet...it says 349 € here, who knows how much its going to cost in the shops.... so you cant really tell the price difference between the fanatec and the G27 yet
Seems so Bob, if you watch some videos of it in usage your eyes are going to water! But just the idea of having to disassemble my wheel in order to plug it in and the fact that i'd have to pay a lot of money to Mrs. Merkel for toll and taxes and sh*t puts it out of the "to buy list" :irked:
Its indeed very pleasing to see that Logitech pays atention to their customers and improve their hardware accordingly, just like dawesdust_12 mentioned.
However i love the sequential shifter mode of the G25, it really adds to the excitement of downshifting and braking for a corner. I've only stopped using it because its kinda wear out now and led to lots of false shifts...
Allthough the Flappy paddles on the G25 are very well crafted together, i HATE using them.
So how about building a decent sequential Shifter which can be purchased seperatly Mr. Goo?:dopey: Right now the only option for a well-made sequential shifter is paying ridiculous amounts of money for shipping, tolls & taxes to buy one of these
Make sure to include the following in your petition: Dynamic Weather, Dynamic Track Temperature, Dirt spreading to Track, Night Racing, a busy pit crew around your car when doing a pit stop, working pit lights, oh and the Scirocco of course :spin:
The footage is from the UMC, a greek championship hosted by the GVRTeam. Had a great time in the races and decided to try some video editing to eternize these beautiful moments.
first of all i tried using the search function but i couldn´t find anything useful.
The Hosts of our little League are using LFSStats for the Race, and as you can see here --->> http://gvrteam.gr/umc/s2_02/race02/r02_stats_grp2.html right next to me it says flags: "throttle". Can you tell me what kind of Steering aid this is and how i can turn it off? I cant find anything in the options. Thx for any help.
