Yeah but how about the race ? Does somebody have to be in the TS3 Server throughout the whole race?
I cant seem to find a tracker, has it been announced yet?

I love the idea with the rain!
The effects are not really brilliant and the FPS are poor, but the music is nice and the idea with the rain... again... is just amazing!

Hehe thanks man, i feel the same when i see some sick videos from others with special effects i couldn't even create if Vegas was mindcontroled :P

You totally have a point about the fov.
I guess its just the fact that most of us use high fov when racing, for obvious reasons (e.g. seeing what's next to your car) and then feel kind of awkward with lower fovs when shooting a video :P

just finished my latest video, so i'd love to hear some comments and even better, improvement suggestions!
I'm not very good at adding special effects so i try to keep the videos as simple as possible. Just some fast moving pictures with a nice piece of music.
The video is meant to be kind of a team promo for my team, the Hellenic Racing Team.

At the end of the layout (pit exit) there are arrows on the ground. These do mean that you may cross the yellow line there, right?
Testrace on the 8th of December: 2 hours of KY2R
The Hellenic Racing Team will be hosting a 2h test race for the upcoming 12h DoP event. Of course all DoP-classes are welcome.

Server open: 17:30 UTC
Grid: 18:00 UTC
Start: 18:05 UTC

We have no plans for a qualifying, since it would be a waste of time to be holding 3 seperate qualifying sessions for just one testrace where the result does not count in any way. The grid will be arranged according
to this, which as far as i can see is counting the drivers PB`s, for those who have not done their qual laps yet. There is no mandatory driverchange, in order to allow every team to start the test race with all its drivers.
Hopefully we'll see a full grid this way. Should the server fill up, it's first come first serve of course. See you guys on tuesday

Oh wow i wasn't expecting an answer this late in the night! Thank you very much flip, you should be given an nobel price for LFS moding or something!

Thank you for updating Flipcams Fl!p. First thing i checked when i installed Z25 was the functionality of Flipcams :P. I was freaking out when i realised it wasn't working, i'm glad you updated it.
For some reason its not working with my Z25 LFS though.
Error: cannot determine the current view. Make sure LFS´s data folder contain the "views" folder and four "views_cam*" folders.
This is what i get at startup and also if i try to hit the shortcut to change the cam. typing in /run fc_runCam1 in the chat also gives me the same error message.
of course the folders mentioned in the error message do exist. Any suggestions?

on behalf of the Hellenic Racing Team I´d like to thank everybody who was involved in this! All admins and SC drivers did a great job, especially the starting procedure was a dream (and in no comparison to what
i've seen the day before in practice). The tracker could have been working better, but considering the fact that it's quite hard to run one tracker for three servers simultaneous, it all seems to have worked out pretty well. Absolutely every single driver in Server 1 was very fair for the whole 16 hours. I can't comment on the broadcast because obviously i had no time to watch it, but i'm sure it was as great as everything else was today. This was my very first endurance race and i had such a great time i can't even describe. Of course we'd like to congratulate all the teams on the podium as well!

Apologies to #306 - Concept Racing NGT | K. Doughty from #248 - HR team | B. Chalaris. Whilst trying to let a GT1 car through he lost his braking point and ran into the rear of Doughty.
My apologies to #128 Just Driving | M. Marain. While he was lapping me (#248 HR team | C. Panoulas) in sector 3 i went wide to let him through, so did he, and when i realised i went on the inside a bit too rapidly, maybe scaring him a little. His tail went out a little but he held it all together very well, so just wanted to say SRY
