Both are using Shift A editor. The Champcar sound of the exhaust crackling/ovverun is done in post-edit though, it won't have that in the game. Let me know if you want either eng file

Might have been blind yesterday, didn't read that bit of the rules hence was also adamant post-race that I was in my right to retake position on grid. But then again, the rules are in big chu ks of small text, and that rule is kinda unique, but still my bad.

Penalise all you want, but if I'm not blind this time... there is no mention of overtaking on the formation lap in the regulations - and by default, I suppose if you return positions it is nullified. Another grey area not covered I guess...

Race

The race will be start with a formation lap followed with a standing start. Keep a minimumdistance of 10 car lenghts to other cars. If you spin/crash during the formation lap, keep the position which you have when rejoining track. At the end of your formation lap drive to your grid box. After all cars are stationary, Race director will display red lights on the screen. Lights are turned off after 3-6s and the race is on. Drivers who jump the start will get 30s penalty after the race. First lap crashes will not result in race restart.

But sure I guess if I were to get a penalty as usual, TOTALLY not in relative to the VSC/SC cockups rescue biasness and inconsistency, dumb early quali format, minimal rules, unregulated grids and minimum time, and driver ping check, then go ahead @Ricky. Not that this series isn't slowly becoming a clownery.

Personally I don't see as a good idea the rule forcing to use 2 different compounds during the race with current LFS tyre model in conjuction with SC/VSC. Couldn't agree more... there is no consistency in both enforcing the rules and keeping standard procedures for Yellow/VSC/SC. For me, the 2 compound thing is fine, but drivers should be allowed to change compound during at least SC. It gets really dumb when, like you said, LFS tire physics warrants no change for R4 and you have to find a time to pit, and then get screwed over by aforementioned sc inconsistency.

Personally I won't see myself partaking in this if the SC issue occurs for a forth time - the inconsistency is a one-off issue and affects the people involved but the foundations of flagging and SC periods... there is no excuse. Again, I stayed up late only to get buttshammed by the 3rd vsc bs, won't be doing it again if it happens once more. Not worth my time.

3 times in a row now all 3 races had Safety Car bug or mishandling

Round 1 VSC insim error, then unfair penalties issued post-race
Round 2 SC and then recall to VSC
Round 3 Long VSC for rescuing slow stuck car (another car in previous round did not get same treatment), then VSC change to SC after 1 lap

Guys shouldn't this lot be resolved by this round already... it's halfway in the season. I didn't want to write this rant-i-ful passage out, and I was hoping I didn't, but it happened again today at FE. The elongated 2nd VSC and evolve to SC costed Rony his win, costed me a pit stop.

Yes, there wasn't the super dumb SC to VSC recall, but still, close to a full lap under VSC before evolving to SC is way too long. Make the right decision from the start, and if you don't, stick with whatever you got, and if you need to recall or evolve to the next tier of yellow, do it quickly... And if you're going to rescue someone, give someone time, or treat a car in one way, every other car should be given at least the same treatment and chance to rejoin/reset. It's bloody basics...

Dear gentlemen,

I am writing this letter to express my apologies following the unsportsmanlike driving standards and subsequent outburst that occured during the running of the fifth round of TBOC yesterday, dated 29th November. I apologise for any hurt that I may have inflicted with my words in anger.

Off the midnight coffee and following a good sleep, I have taken time to reflect on my season and my actions that have brought me to where I am, but also ruined my reputation and demeanour. I have realised that my approach to racing is and has always been flawed - and that I was just a ticking time bomb in regards to penalties or hatred. I need to reiterate again that, I have always been aggressive and decisive and that has always been my approach and driving style (heck, even philosophy) and to date I have not been made aware of the consequences of such actions - until today.

I have taken this occassion to reassess my character and driving behaviour and will attempt to change for the better of myself and my fellow competitors; but it will take time and I hope in the meantime, I will not cause any further issues. I hope you all will give me the opportunity to better myself and race well once again.

In reference to the aforementioned, Car 88, Sean Lee accepts all imposed penalties derived from the existing protests at this time, to be applied in the official results for Feature Race (session) of the event. On behalf of Air Attack Racing and Newsroom entity, I thank whoever has been there to guide me and talk to me even in my anger. I appreciate that.

Once again, sorry and thank you, and I hope to race with you all again in the finale.

I'll brake check people next race then, since that seems fine to do. talk me out of that.

moves under braking to cover me, making me swing wide at last moment. fine. then drives himself shallower than a plate, understeers straight on in the grass, and I catch his rear fender, and we interlock bodies like lego; I get a warning for this shit? Sure, he gets a penalty for blocking, but for his own line choice making him run into me , really? OK.

i'm sorry, where's the 1-car width? does the kerb count or am I that fat? I'm right at the b-pillar so its not that i'm sticking my fingernail in. My car is there, and I pulled up mostly in time to make the corner. I get a warning and penalty for this?


Right. I get it. On the day where I am fighting Botsi for the championship and trying not to drive like an ****, people block weave and do dumb shit, shit that I get called out for. And I get the warnings, OK.

for 5 rounds i get up and stay woke on coffee till 2am+ just to entertain and give some rubbing and hard racing for the viewers and on the day where I'm trying not to drive dumb i'm the one that gets shit on.

"oh you should just be passive and let people by to stay safe" - what joy and excitement is that, i dont stay up late to play second fiddle. Or maybe I don't know what I'm talking about at 3 in the morning. Maybe @bozz can vouch for the racing I gave him in the sprint. i dunno. Or maybe I should have just let him past. I don't know either.
