Makes total sense.
180W per channel, 2 channels so 360W in total.
So i should aim for at least 200W speakers per channel so that i don't overpower it and blow it?
And yup i know i think i mentioned it somewhere in my video description, im worried about blowing that speaker so i dont normally tend to go over 1/3 volume, just put it up to full in the video as it was only for a minute or two.
Just wondering, how likely would it be for a speaker to blow if its being overdriven like the 69W speaker is?
I was thinking of buying an ipig and dismantling it and using the sub and two speakers in my bike, i'd heard it at my friends house and it was unbelivably loud and bassy. But now i've just got home and noticed that it's 4W per speaker and 15W for the subwoofer, that will probably end up blowing with my amp :/
Just incase anybody was wondering how this turned out.
Amp is great, the speaker were not. Quitest things ever.
Stuck the amp in my bike and im temporarily using the centre speaker from my Logitech z5500. Video of it in action.
Planning on getting some proper 180W speakers. Either two or four. Not sure yet.
Hey Sam, maybe we can hang out when i've finished it (estimated time 2046 as im waiting for my stripper joint business to take off) maybe we can hang out? Cause your van and my mobility scooter will be about as cool as each other, and probably sell for about as much.
I did put ' around the 350 to show that i didn't think it was actually 350W
But i dont think size matters when it comes to speakers, my z5500 centre speaker is 69W and my guitar amp speaker which is about triple the size of it is only 25W
Apparently, according to ebay.
I expect it to be alot less then 350W but i don't really mind, was £3 for 4 of them and as long as they work then it's fine. Just need them to see if my little experiment will even work.
Oh and today decided to take apart the XR6 to see what the FOOK was wrong with it (fell over in the wind on wednesday and hadnt worked since).
Fixed what was wrong with it but i took a picture of it pretty much naked and i think it looks quite sexy like this.
Yup, the L stands for learner and as far as i know the only restriction i had when i was on L plates was tha i couldn't take passengers. No restriction of when i can ride.
Most don't, well over here we dont :/
Over here i used to have a small little red L on the side of my license plate.
