You haven't been on CTRA servers have you? Even with the lovely XRG & XFG, people thought they can go two wide. You can't. In the downhill left hander in SO Town you actually have room to go two wide safely, three wide if you push it and really slow down.
I'm glad SO Town is staying. It is a great track with lots of bumps...
.Too tight for this bunch. I actually love the SO Classic track with the XRT but with these drivers, you will have a caution all the time. People won't know NOT to dive bomb into the chicane. You have to line yourself up and get a great exit to get the driver on the next corner. Plus people will bitch and complain that they are getting tagged or spun out since lap traffic will be horrendous.
I'm sorry but that should be a DNF, plain and simple. I've been a victim of that due to my ISP but it only happened a couple of times.
It was Ken and I who touched after the funky restart. Once I saw the green I thought it was a green flag but that came 2 seconds later. Pumped the brakes but then realized I should just floor it because I will most likely be run over by the "I-have-no-brakes" drivers.

I think that's what caused most of the passing before the S/F line.

I just upgraded from an ATI Radeon 1900XTX to NVIDIA GeForce 9800GTX and all my artifacts, glitches, weird graphics are gone. My ATI card overheated once with the stock fan and it never was the same after that. My ATI card reached the boiling point of water

Anyways, I lost power 5 minutes after I logged out of the server. Since my APC connects to an ungrounded socket, it looks like it took the whole hit of whatever lightning bolt hit our electrical segment.
I agree with everything that's been said before. Due to my bad fortune and getting involved in almost every incident, I thought the pace car wasn't keeping a steady lap since all I was during caution was accelerate, brake, brace for impact, accelerate, brake, brace for impact.
Do we really have a lot of kids here? It seems most people go a la Clarkson "POWAAAAAAAA" and don't even know they have a middle pedal called the brake. I was slowing down for mishaps in front of me and people at the back thought they could fly through the wrecks. And like I said earlier, even during caution I was getting hammered from the rear.
Server crash. It happens. You guys seem to spring quickly into action unfortunately there were some people that thought they were admins on this server. The admins should also NOT use the race to chat and instead use something like TS or Vent.
Also, do any of the kids know what it means to shut up? Or do they know how to read? Asking for setups on raceday? Automatic kick/ban for that day to the server. Eventually that happened but it should have happened right at the beginning.
I would love to participate in this league because it is on the weekends. I usually drive in LOTA but because of my shift work, I miss 2/3rds of the races. I want you guys to succeed but please enforce the rules. There should be a boatload of chatting penalties this time around.

We saw yesterday what can happen at the start. My car is really loose for the first few laps so I will gladly loose position taking the high line and letting everybody go. But that's me. When I did try to race for position, my car would break loose coming off the kink.

Reboot your router or reconnect to your ISP before the race. That seems to help some people who have frequent disconnects. Turn off everything that uses the net and you should be fine.
