I use photoshop and paint.net to do my skins, i don't have ample time to do a skin that takes a few days to do, throw a design together and wollah. I can't see a problem with the carbon fibre, looks ok to me haha. And obviously some others like it, looks ok to me ingame and thats all that matters to me =).

I designed a helmet myself and made it the right size and that. its uploaded to lfsw like my desktop thing but i don't know where it is in game?? i really want it, i've read pretty much everything but nothing has told me what and where i need to place it =)
