I agree with Jakg and I think getting a crossfire or an SLI system, is reasonable only if you buy high-end cards. With slower cards, I think there is no point in it. Just get a better card, like X1950pro or xt orsmth.

Yes, true, I can't drive really fast, but on the other hand, I can't drift good too. So.. maybe I should quit playing S2?:P

I don't understand the thing, why racers hate drifters. Because they think that many of the drifters are 13 yr old kids who just had watched FnF? I think drifting is equal to racing. Some people want to race, some want to drift.
LFS has many servers. Servers for racing, and for drifting. That means, drifters won't disturb racers. But why do always racers keep whining about drifting?

Ofcourse I would like more real cars, but having only one doesn't disturb me at all. I think it's even fun when you can talk with your friend about XRT's and FZ5's not ferraris or porsches.

I don't exactly know if there are any newer ones, but I used 52.16 orsmth on my friends FX5200 and those were the best.

Dunno if this has been reported. But about the false start system.

I tried this with AI. Basically when I do a false start, I pit, then wait until the green light goes on and then unpit. Basically, not on all tracks, but you can gain first position by doing this. I tried this on fern bay gold rev, and it's possible.

I wouldn't mind a fast track, but that wouldn't be my first choice. I'd more like an addon to south city, tight track, bumpy road, tight bends etc...

This machine has to run LFS smoothly, even with full grid of AI.

I have Athlon 64 3000+@ 2.4GHz, 1GB of RAM and a 6800GT. All settings turned on from ingame options, 1280x1024 resolution and 8xAA 16xAF, have no problem running it. Full grid ai 30-40FPS for sure.

Well and ofcourse, a 2 year old windows - that's not good no matter how you try to keep it. That might lower the fps in LFS, but not definately, since 3dmark05 score seems to be okay.

Well it's not that bad actually. I'd say 50% of demo racers drift, the other 50% players race. And I don't think drifting is childish, you kinda have to know how to control the car to achieve a good drift, and that needs practicing. It's just not oh-i-can-oversteer-a-bit.

I like both, racing and drifting. Though not so much drifting anymore, racing is more fun cause you don't see rude people there. When you are drifting and you crash into someone NOT on purpose, then he most certainly will call you a moron etc.
