The sound of the engine is created in a way similar to real life. It has to do with the configuration. Go download s2, and have a go with lfs tune or tweak. And make yourself a 6 cyl. in line

Yes i get it only Tweak can make the cool Inline 6 Sound

I think that the easiest way to make more smoke is to make a very short gears and RWD car like XRT or other,warm-up tyres to 100-120 degrees and drive with full throttle with brake
