RE: driving 'defensively' ('consistently' would be a better way to put it.)

If there is a crash on a server bad enough to 'kill' a driver, all the racers in the server should immediately be removed from the circuit and have to be virtual pallbearers at a virtual funeral for the victim. The devs could code up a cemetary, coffin and a minister.

The fastest driver on the server would drive the hearse.

(Or second fastest driver, if the fastest was the one that 'died'.)

I'm of the opinion that you shouldn't be learning a track or car online. If I was a server admin and saw someone that clearly didn't have a clue which way the corners went I'd kick them out right quick.

Oh my. I live near-ish Mosport and have been to the track 5 times for the ALMS races. Sorry to go 'off-track' in this thread, but I don't spend all day reading here. Those free hosting sites are specifically designed to be hard to find the download link. Technology has made it easier for us to ignore, dismiss, or delete advertisements from our media. Advertisers aren't just going to lay down and quit. They seem to be a sneaky, persistant lot.

I would say that the sound is the number one thing that jumps out at a new user and has the largest potential to turn them off of the sim.

You should stalk them. Find out where they live. Photograph their house. Sit outside and peer into their windows and see if they really do code. Follow them to the grocery store and see if they buy lots of brain food (fish).

We, as paying customers, need to know this information. We need to know, yesterday, when a new patch is coming. Everything about our lives are on hold until we know this.

Please, won't someone stalk the devs??? Think of all of the people needing a patch! Sacrifice your time (and possibly your freedom, if caught and jailed) for us!
