Nice links, but perhaps for beginners it's to complex.
I think hints like these from Chaos are a better help for beginners to learn the basics, than such long tutorials.
But the links can be a good help for more advanced drivers.

Today I tried the LRF-class a bit longer for the first time.
Tried all three cars on BL1, every car with WR-Set.

The RAC was really fun, got some good laptimes (for me) and with the WR-Set, easy to handle. But I had some problems: Like Renku said, not easy to detect blocked front wheels and the steering wasn't really good for me.

The tried LX6. With WR-Set, no chance to get 5 laps. Then changed 3 things on the set and after that it runs great. Got for me a great 1:20.85 and had no problems to handle the car.

Both cars are great fun and I can recommend everybody to try it a little bit longer with a set, that suits to your driving-style.

It's a pity that there are not many drivers that like the LRF-class, but until today I was one of these.

Hope to see some more servers with lrf-cars in the future.

Great video and great racing.

Would make more interesting starts.
But perhaps there would be problems with lags, so people with better connections could have advantages.

First used Momo Racing (black) pedals (Rev.a) until cleaning the pots doesn't help anymore.
Now using the DFP pedals (Rev.b). No problems so far, but I'm using them only for a few weeks now.

Smokemod is great, but my pc can't take to much smoke.
Is it possible to use the slickmod online, means to drive lx6 with slicks e.g.?

i have the same problem.
The games freezes every few seconds for a little while.
It's only in the multiplayer, but it's not in the multiplayer-replays. In the replay it runs fine.
In Singleplayer i have no probs, too.

It's the first time having this problem, the last months the game runs fine.

I tried a few things but it doesn't help. (ad-aware, spybot, anti-virus, regcleaner, shut down all progs like firewall etc.)

Does someone have any suggestions?
