I can't help but be disappointed by the lack of signups this season... However I don't want the series to fail. I am considering moving the series further into the summer and changing the format to a sprint race type of series (single driver) with one race being a two man team event. Would this be more supported by the community? Just need ideas on how to increase the number of signups.

Quote from PMD9409 :The DP is far from "NASCAR" style safety. The car is in its 3rd generation and still has the safety specs of Trans-Am from the 90s. The terrible tube frame design will never touch Le Mans because it can't pass the FIA crash test.

A closed cocked FIA LMP1 or LMP2 is much much safer. If a LMP2 would have hit the Ferrari instead, the impact would have been absorbed much greater, keeping the driver safer overall. The only problem that would arise is the open cockpit design and if the Ferrari would climb up the LMP2 to the driver's head. I don't think the car itself would make its way that high, but I do believe I good size chunk of debris could.

What I said was, since it is a NASCAR vehicle I think we can expect NASCAR to improve the safety of it. I was refferring to an open top LMP, which would stay the course as you said.

The DP is a "NASCAR" vehicle. So no doubt it will improve with some more r&d (the safety issues) but I don't think any fia car would have taken a impact like that much better tbh. There would still be injuries

gonna go ahead and rank the top 3 ugliest F1 cars of 2014
1. Caterham
2. Force India
3. Lotus

Redbull did a good job masking it with the black color so it looks normal at least.
Although, Lotus gets the most unique design award for sure

If your skin features your entry number largely on the sides and roof (the roof number should be pointing to the left or upside down when viewed on the skin

He hit left front, this could be bad. Both drivers took a hard hit, Ferrari driver I think should be ok, but wow the whole cockpit of the 99 is smashed in.

I have been asked by a team if they can put the bonnet number on the roof. This is fine and teams may do as preferred

Quote from Ball Bearing Turbo :Greetings,

In April, I will be heading over firstly to Germany (going to Bremen) and then will be popping over to London, and then to Manchester a bit later on.

Mostly work related.

My question is: what would you call "must-do" or "must-see" items in these locations? Most of the time will be in London, at a placed called "Hotel Russel" which I hope is as nice as it looks on the website .

Maybe I'll run into a fellow LFSF personality.

Cheers
