Don't fast travel. Explore. Then the mission is just a bonus, real core of the game is totally elsewhere.
I just completed the story part of the game. I can say that I don't play much I am not CoD fanboi, and I really choose what I play. But somehow, this game got me, really simply got all of me. From moment one I got direct feeling of Far Cry 1, my GTX470 could handle it maxed out with DX11 enabled so I really was getting visual of Crysis, there were no stupid re-spawns of riots as in Far Cry 2, they made a huge map, but it's not only the map, its somehow living world, animals, day/time change, rains, storms, quite OK handling when driving a car... A billion of small things like this, which can get you great overall feeling. The story is not a Shakespear's top notch work, but it's not really bad at all. Gets 2 endings and cut scenes and all the story telling is quite... how to say it... great.

Very unlikely since it won't be even a month old by Christmas, when the Christmas sale starts.
That's really insane. So many circumstances had to be put together, yet it still happened.
The typical process for every (serious) racer:
1. Be entertained with LFS for first couple of years
2. Join leagues, win races, be happy about what you achieved
3. When you have time, do some hotlaps, upload it to LFSW and see how awesome you are
4. Be less entertained with LFS for next couple of years
5. Be sad about old content and that you still drive same old thing over and over again without lack of updates which you were used to
6. Stop playing LFS that much
7. Start occupying forum instead of turning on LFS
8. Raise your post count, don't turn LFS at all from now on
9. Moan about how old LFS is and how you don't have time for that because your real life finally advanced somewhere
10. Remember some nostalgie memories every now and then
11. Be still around if something pops up in following 5 years.
12. Never give up on LFS as a whole, because it did find you some friends and gave some really nice memories in past

The fact he had not HANS on his neck is the only pragmatical reason for his death if you ask me. I don't believe he would die with HANS in this type of crash, ye of course it was a huge impact, but HANS would absorb side forces on his neck.

I am not very much concerned in this, but I'd like to see some independents with kinda different cars, not only BMW, Seat and Cruze. It's most likely to do with support or money overall, but there are a lot more cars available to play with. Volvo, Civic, new Civic, Accord, Audi, Ford, Integra, Lexus, Mercedes, VW, Toyota, Peugeot etc etc...
