I would never call you that for spending £9k on a Bike. It's your money so you can do as you wish, and I would probably have done the same in your situation. You only live once so you may as well make the most of it.
I remember that segment on Fifth Gear. Was pretty interesting, but none of those tests are good for your paint to be honest.
For example...
Black Honda Accord Type-R after years of going through Car Washes or being washed with a sponge.
Nothing to do with "money weighing me down". It's just what I like to spend my money on. Not like I feel a need to justify what I do with my money on, but I don't drink, rarely go out and most my money goes into keeping a roof over mine and my partners head. When the odd occasion comes up that I have some spare cash, I sometimes like to treat myself.
After all, you just spent £10,000 on a Motorbike. You don't hear me calling you monumental knob...
Very nice car you have there Ian. You should get yourself over to www.detailingworld.co.uk. Be warned though, it can be very addictive. In the last 12 months, I have easily spent in excess of £1500 on detailing equipment. £150 of that was just for the Wax!
Dammit. All this talk of Dutch food is making me want to go there again. 's-Hertogenbosch (Den-Bosch) was the City I would always visit. At least if I ever go to Holland again, I would have an excuse to see Erik.
Although, there was some pretty shocking news in the paper about a local Chinese Takeaway. Apparently, a strange type of meat was found in one of there dishes. After multiple tests, this "strange meat" was in fact found to be pieces of a Dog that went missing in my town about 3 weeks previous. They killed the Dog in the back of the Restaurant and cooked it, then served it to there unknowing customers!!
Ketchup is fantastic, but for me, fry sauce takes the winning spot. I forgot the name, but there is also a special fried sausage that you can get in Holland. That was also really delicious with fry sauce.
Lidl usually has a lot of east European goodies for sale Becky, and I'm pretty sure that Dutch fry sauce is available there too. You could always take a looksie if you ever have a craving for it.
Ah, do you mean the Mayonnaise like sauce, but with small pieces of herb in it? If so, I loved that stuff and always bought bottles of it to bring back to the UK.
P.S, this thread is making me hungry. Anyone fancy a late night drive to Burger King with me?
That may be so, but no-one should be expecting there meal to be good for them if they are eating from a fast food chain like KFC, McDonalds, Burger King etc.
To be honest, It does not bother me at all how unhealthy it is eating from a fast food chain. It's cheap, tastes good, arrives quickly and providing you don't eat there several times a week, isn't exactly the worst thing for your body.
Will give that a try. The Camera randomly started up Today. It worked for about 10 minutes with everything running ok, then froze out on me as usual with all the lights stuck on and the lense popped out. I now cannot get it to start up again to retract the lense.
I will have to try and find a local Fuji shop and get them to take a looksie.
Can any of you guys help with my Camera? It's a FujiFilm Finepix F601. I've had it a long time now, and it has served me well. Infact, I really like it as it can produce some pretty good quality shots, even by todays standards.
The only problem is that I went to turn it on the other day, and something went wrong. The lens came out as normal and it beeped like normal, then the Camera shut down and the lens stuck out. So, I put it on charge and switched it back on, and the lens went back in and the Camera said "please set time and date". So I assumed it was the battery at fault, as the Camera shut down again soon after attempting to enter the date/time.
I bought some new batteries off of eBay. They are not official FujiFilm batterys, but are made for my Camera. They are NP/60 3.7volts, 1500mah. The ones originally in the Camera were 1035mah. The output is the same. I'm doubtful these new batteries are causing the problem.
Any ideas on what else could be causing this issue, and whether I can save my trusty ol' girl?

Just because AE85/6's are RWD, does not make them a drift car. Sure, they may be very good at it but so can a lot of other RWD vehicles if you put enough work into them.
Out of the two, I use Paint.NET. I have not used Gimp as Paint.NET fulfills my needs currently. I would recommend downloading the DDS plug-in for Paint.NET as this means you can edit the interior textures too. Google "Paint.NET DDS Plug-In" to find it, then follow the installation instructions.
I'm pretty sure that only applies to hosts' using modified LFS executable files, does it not? Tweak programs should not affect the executable file, therefore making them safe to use online.
@ beatlemaniac. It's been a while since I created a Tweak server (Since patch V!!) but I'm sure this is how I done it back then.
1. Open LFS and select the car that you are able to tweak (Most likely a XRG/XFG). Open Tweak.
2. Go into Single Player, and put your car on the track. Then go to your Desktop, load your Tweak file, go back into LFS and then pit. Your car should now have the tweak settings applied.
3. With Tweak still running, create and host a server. Of course, make it private so only your friends running Tweak can join. When up and running, put your Tweaked car on to the Track.
4. Now, tell your Friends to repeat steps 1 and 2 on there Computer, in Single Player. You need to make sure they have the EXACT same Tweak save, otherwise they will not be able to go online.
5. If they have loaded the Tweak file correctly, and the Tweak file corresponds with yours, then they should now be able to join your server.
Hopefully, that should of worked. Don't forget that if one of them turns off Tweak or changes any Tweak settings while in the server, then they will timeout and could possibly timeout the server too. Also, don't forget to turn off Tweak and restart LFS before going back onto normal servers.
Hehe. It's only thanks to my Job that I've gotten to drive cars like that.
Bare in mind that Cars like that only turn up once in a blue moon. Apart from that, I'm working on Mercedes-Benz's, like A-Classes, C-Classes etc. Now THEY are dreadful cars!
