A few shots of my "fleet", as it's changed a bit since I moved to Ireland.
The daily driver. 1998 Lexus GS300 2JZ (non-turbo). Love wafting around in this. Despite it being a big comfortable cruiser, it is surprisingly capable in the corners, especially since having £400's worth of Bridgestone Potenzas' fitted. It does weigh two tonne or so though, so it's no Lotus Elise.
My baby. 2000 Honda Accord SE Sport fitted with an F20B. I love this car. I mean like REALLY love it. This is a completely different animal to drive compared to the Lexus. Where as the Lexus is an Automatic barge, the Honda is a 8650rpm, D.O.H.C VTEC screaming monster. Most people see it and think it's a typical family saloon with a lip kit. The jokes on them when I leave them eating my dust.
One place this car really shines though, is in the corners. Adaptive suspension, Limited Slip Diff and a low kerbweight all mean that it is rarely caught in the twistys. Unfortunately, I'm having some issues registering it here in Ireland which I won't go into, so it's stuck on the drive at the moment.
I love both of them dearly. They are not the best cars in the world, but they are both in great condition (Honda needs paint...) and are reliable, and also cheap to insure for a 19 year old, so I can't moan.
Hope you enjoyed my longer than expected post. Haha!
P.S that PlastiDip is amazing! Might have to try it out.
Unfortunately, I charge £65 for a full valet. That does mean a full valet though. Engine bay, interior (including the scrubs, carpets and headlining being scrubbed!) and everything else, as well as a coat of Autoglym HD wax. I've had no complaints so far!
Ah, I have just checked my e-mail account. Yes 0nyx1, I still have the wheel and I work in Birmingham. I will e-mail you some details.
Thanks for your interest. You said you have sent a PM? Unfortunately, I have recieved no PM, unless you meant an e-mail? The wheel is still for sale if you are interested.
@ Jamie. I think it's a fair price, as most are going for this price and this one is in great condition, so I reflected that in the price. However, as stated in my advert, I am open to sensible offers.
@ TBOFram, I am in the West Midlands, 20 miles south of Birmingham.
Up for sale, is my Logitech G25. I have owned this wheel for around a year, and it has been fantastic fun. I've never had any problems with it.
As titled, the condition of the wheel is like new! There are no cracks or scratches in the plastic, and the leather has no dents or rips. I regularly clean it, and clean/condition the leather every 3-4 weeks. The wheel still has very strong force feedback and makes no abnormal noises, like knocks or bangs for example. The pedals feel brilliant, and still have excellent response, with no signs of clipping. The gearshifter feels great too, with every gear working flawlessly, and the reverse switch works properly too.
To summarise, this wheel is in fantastic condition and I am certain you will not be disappointed. The only reason I am selling it is due to the fact that I do not play LFS anymore, so I may as well sell it. I could always upgrade to a G27/Fanatec at a later date.
I am looking for around £130, but am open to sensible offers. Delivery can be arranged, either by courier (at your cost.) or I can deliver it to your house for £1 per mile. You are also welcome to pick it up from my House or Work, or we could meet half way.
As it stands, I have no pictures of the G25 on this computer. However, if you are interested in my G25, feel free to reply to this topic or PM me with your Mobile number, and I could then send over a picture message. I will try and get some proper pictures on my next day off work, which is this Tuesday.
Yeah, it's really easy to cut off the wider arches, move the hubs inwards to reduce the (widened from the factory) wheel position and multiple other changes.
Also, post proof showing where people have made there £50k 22B look like a £10k (at the most!) P1 please, because I don't believe you.
Sounds to me like you called his car a P1 lookalike.
I still don't understand what you are saying though. A 22B is the closest you will get to a P1? Riiiiight...Even though 22B's Bodyshells are nothing like ordinary GC8's, due to them having wider arches, undershell reinforceing etc. etc.
Wait wait, people who buy a 22B wish it was a P1? WTF?! The 22B is considered the ultimate GC8 Impreza to ever be released, so why on earth would someone with a 22B want the less impressive P1??
Also, they didn't do P1's/22B's in the saloon shape, and they didn't come with the front bumper shown on the silver one, so I still cannot justify you calling it a P1 lookalike.
My Honda has two spots of rust right behind the front struts. Water runs behind the struts, a little pool is created and that eventually eats through the firewall, which it has done on mine. It's a really bad idea from Honda to not have any drainage system there.
For now, I have blocked up the holes with silicone. I will fix it eventually, but it's a big job. Engine and Gearbox has to come out, as well as the whole dash and front end of the interior....
Apart from that, there is no rust anywhere else. Not even on the arches! Woop!
I did look into fitting the F20C, but it's too much work unfortunately. RWD would be possible, but it's just too much work and I want to keep the chassis relatively untouched. FWD is not possible, as the gearbox would be on the wrong side.
The F20C cylinder head does fit onto my F20B6, which is awesome. Might look into fitting that at some point.
