As an example, I changed your picture to jpg, without doing anything else to it at all.

Well, I'll be coming down, but just as a spectator I'm afraid.

I've had this happen on a few replays. As mentioned above, it looks like it's a corruption of the mpr file in some way, as someone else's replay of the same race is fine.
No idea of what might be the cause of it though

Nice one. Even better when you take the elevation gain into account.

Quote from ATHome :
Great, some more stupid rules and the Forumla Superleague will be the new F1 (in terms of Speed and Power)

I've been hoping they would get rid of refuelling for a while now. Since it's common for the teams to try and win the race in the pitstops.
Now they just need to get rid of the tyre changing during the race (except for punctures) and we'll be back to the drivers/teams having to overtake in order to win/score more points, etc...

Stages 1 & 4 have had the spectator parking cancelled.
Stages 2 & 3 will be open.
Stage 5 is cancelled.

Wouldn't mind going myself, but it's a bit far north for me

PCI is the original spec.
AGP then replaced PCI for graphics cards.
Then PCI-E came along.

It's possible, but you'll have the same issue with a PCI graphics card, as you do with an AGP card. Size and available space within the box.
You'll probably find that the space for the AGP slot is longer than that available to the PCI slots though.

Best thing to do is to actually check what space is available inside the box, and then campare it the dimensions of various cards, both PCI and AGP, find what'll fit and then decide which would be the best card to go with.

That link only gives me a 20.1Mb download which covers a few mins of them trying to get the stream setup.

Yeah, I know, it just struck me as strange that the replay shows it for the full race and then disqualifies them at the race end.

Now maybe it's just me, but does that replay really show that Mercury drove the entire race with a stop-go penalty showing for jumping the pace lap?

the p2p only gives me the same 8-9 sec clip each time i try loading the page however.

Other than the memory, it looks pretty good to me.
I'd have thought since you were spending that much money already, paying a little extra for 1800 or 2000MHz memory might have been worthwhile. If only to improve the stable overclocking potential.

Nope, for me at least, LFS isn't even going and looking for the skins. It simply says it can't load them.
What it should be doing, is looking and seeing that the skins don't exist in the skins folder, and then asking me if I want to get them. It doesn't do that though.

I've come across this as well. Not with every replay though.
On some replays it just doesn't even attempt to go and get the skin from LFSWorld, but on others it will.
It's happening to me on Z and on Z10, with my previously existing install and with a fresh install. I've gone in and manually made sure I have full permission rights on all the folders in the LFS install. I also set the option for the game to 'ask' about downloading skins.
The replays it's happened to me are the iTTC replays.

On the last MOE round replay, it ask's, and then downloads and shows the skins fine.
On the iTTC replays, it doesn't ask and doesn't download anything.
If I go online to a server, it downloads and shows the skins fine.

Anyone had this happen to them and worked out what's wrong and how to fix it?

For myself, I see touchscreens becoming popular amongst graphics artists, once they get the resolutions up to decent levels without the price being outstanding.
Imaging being able to do your artwork directly onto the screen exactly as you would with paper, etc...

Just downloading the beta myself, although not decided which machine to install it onto yet.

Unless things have changed in the last couple of years, you have the choice of enrolling with someone who runs a course for the specific qualification you want ( the course fee should then include the test fee), or you can simply contact a testing centre and book yourself in for a test.
I haven't looked recently, but you should be able to find a list of the testing centres. I believe they are run by Vue and Pearson respectively, but you'd be best to check that via the microsoft website first.
Test fee's I 'think' are somewhere between £100-150. I sat mine in 2003, so the fee's will have gone up since then.

For someone with experience, simple buying one of the qualification books and studying up on the specifics it deals with, should be enough for most people to pass without too many problems.
Microsoft do their own range of study books for the various exams, although there are several other publishers as well. Most large bookshops should stock them, or you might even manage to find them in your local library.

It might of course be the servers you're trying to connect to.

I just got an average of 213ms when I pinged - 72.160.27.64, from here in the UK, and 31ms when I ping www.google.co.uk

Yep, all the non-windows stuff anyway.
Check it through for the things you don't want to start automatically each time you start the computer, and un-tick them.
Depending on what you have installed, there might be some that you do want to leave ticked.

Are you connecting to the router using a cable or wireless?

Vista shouldn't be running any more than 40-60, and that's without messing around with the services.msc
Mine currently runs with 57, and that's with me allowing things to run which don't really need to be running.

If I recall correctly, the commentators said that the Hamilton - Hoy race was cancelled because of the risk of Hoy crashing due to the track conditions. They didn't want to risk Hoy getting injured.

A step in the right direction anyway.
Now we just have to wait and see how it works out in practice.
