It was an amazing race, with so many fights and close racing, I couldn’t leave the screen even to eat… I didn’t want to lose anything of this race, even only watching its an amazing feeling

We didn’t have any big problem during the 24h, small crashes and that, but our drivers did a very good job with a great driving, we needed to do many calculations in the end because Ocrana was very close, but Petri really was doing fine with an amazing speed and effort…

Again it was a good experience for living all this with my team…. Uros, Arne, Petri, Andreas, Milos you rule!!!! And it was nice to have most of the team giving them support

I dont think we need to change the starting procedure, just have a suggestion of only be giving one green for the race start

Quote from Tweaker :
@BBO: FYI, casper DID brake twice, and was not maintaining a speed of 80km/h for the start --- twice... bursting ahead at speeds upwards of 100km/h+. That is an infraction of rule #6, and indeed why everyone was out of sync and confused. Just some sporadic acceleration

True but still everybody did that infraction not only Casper

Well I don’t think its totally your fault there casper, others need to look for themselves, not accelerate coz someone did it… about the accident its 80% Mercury car fault in my opinion and 20% the mess with the green flag… and Mercury shouldn’t blame others for it

This was an amazing race, to bad for the start crash, but it happens…

This time we didn’t have any major problems, we crashed wide once and coz of that we did an extra pit in Lap 11 just to fix the damage… but my mates with all the effort and good driving were able to catch up the 1st place and recoup more than 40 seconds, in the last stint Biernot also crashed coz of some windows pop up but with no damage, still we lost 12 seconds to ocrana but once again with a great driving from Biernot we were able to be in front of ocrana when they pit out…

I’m looking forward for the 24h race

Quote from Michael Radmer :How about compare the average laptime of a team and set it in a proportion to the official world record? After the race the team, who gets the closest percent to the world record along the race, would win the race.

Example for better understanding:

HL-WR FZR: 1:40.00 = 100 %
HL-Wr FXR: 1:43.00 = 100 %
HL-WR XRR: 1:42.00 = 100 %

Team 1 drives a FZR and after 6 hours they reach an average lap-time of 1:40.60.
Team 2 drives a FXR and after 6 hours they reach an average lap-time of 1:43.50.
Team 3 drives a XRR and after 6 hours they reach an average lap-time of 1:42.80.

Team 1 (FZR) droves during the race a relative laptime of 99.4 % of the world record in the whole race.
Team 2 (FXR) droves along a relative laptime of 99.5 % of the world record.
Team 3 (XRR) droves in that case a relative laptime of 99.2 % of the world record.

Standings:
1. Team 3 (XRR) - 99.2 %
2. Team 1 (FZR) - 99.4 %
3. Team 2 (FXR) - 99.5 %

I think, that would an interesting scoring chart and a possible chance for other "Non-FZR"-teams to win a race. In the post of Frank its sure good scoring, but a FXR team will never win against a FZR. So during the season the gap between FZR and FXR will not so high like last season, but thats the only advantage for the other teams. I would compare the average timelap with the official hotlap world-record (timestamp in the week before the race starts) and test that system. In my example, the FXR-Team could do better laptimes, to beat the FZR and XRR, because all cars drive in the right proportionable values.

The team, who gets the most average laps would receive an extra point, even the qualification winner or the leader-team, who is most of the laps in front of the relative standings.

That would finish with all the fun coz every team only would care about the lap times... but dunno it sounds good in some point... and it could work aswell

But you could do like we have in LFS GT a small bonus (it depends of the races) for the XRR and FXR, for example in LFS GT even winning all the races we really had a hard time to get away from the FXR´s...
