Well, I don't know what's going to come of this, wait and see I guess..

My idle temps are similar (Acer laptop), maybe a couple of degrees lower since I was watching a Flash video at the time. Under load probably close to 100. When the vents were clogged up, the GPU rose to 110 very quickly and the laptop shut itself off instantly.

Cleaning the vents is a 2-step affair:
- remove bottom panel, clean the panel intake and side exhaust
- there is a fan on top of the graphics card, it absolutely *must* come off (doesn't require applying any thermal paste but does need a very tiny screwdriver) in order to access the bigger vents on the body

I don't have any compressed air cans, the vents on mine are very visible and easy to access once the fan is off. I suppose it's bad practise to blow into it in case some spit were to short circuit something but I'm not worried tbh.

It feels redundant to have both. KERS was first, so instead of introducing DRS as a separate system, why not apply limitations to KERS so that it can't be used to defend (because it's too much like push-to-pass? Well, DRS certainly is nothing like it)? DRS was introduced and if KERS counters KERS when both can use it at the same time, why not remove it and just keep DRS instead?

Perhaps next we'll indeed get alternative routes one can take when not using DRS, in order to counter it. Then something to counter that too.

DRS is a retarded system because of the artificial, non-technical limitations imposed on it. Why can't the defending driver use it? Why is the boundary exactly 1 second and not any other value, and why can it be used in one specific part of the track which is determined by some arbitrary measure? It's idiotic, and doesn't add any true value to the sport. If we were to believe Alonso, and why wouldn't we, tyre management has a far more significant effect on an overtake for position, so why is DRS even there then?

KERS isn't quite as stupid, but the usage-left bar going slowly to nil and then magically going back to 100% again requires some serious suspension of disbelief. If the system is actually recovering something during the whole lap, it's only logical that the bar should rise accordingly and that it would be up to the driver to manage it such that there is enough left when it's needed for defending, an overtake or an in/outlap push.

I think it should be able to analyse Google maps and make accurate, to-scale open ended environments of real life locations at a click of a button.

To be fair, I don't think LFS had intake restriction back in '06. On the other hand, when you're that much faster than everyone else, mayhap defaulting to "excuse me guys, why is this?" rather than "run rings around everyone, disrupting their race and not caring why this might be happening" would be a good move

Perhaps you ought to send these teams a message asking why (there's a form on the TDRT site). Having had a look at your LFSW stats, I can assure you that having a superior setup and being an epic fast alien is probably not why you have been banned.

Meh. FF5 is an alright Hollywood action movie, but it's deviated waaay too much from the original to be a good F&F movie.
