The narrow lines are - and always have been, even in z28 - the inner and outer sidewalls. If the outside heats up too much, the tyre is rolling over. If the inside heats up too much, too much camber and/or too low pressure.
An extended FE1 layout can use it without damage, since the bumps would be right after a hairpin.
e: besides, if one were to straight-line Laguna Seca's corkscrew, they'd get some big air. The way I see it is that the reason one brakes for that, and the Fern Bay section is the same: it cannot be taken flat out without breaking the car and driver.
My z30 appears to not have stayed unlocked. None of the files are read-only, I have full permissions, it's not in a "system" folder (like program files), W7 x64 HP. Windows is in test mode because I installed a non-cert driver but I don't know why that would cause it.
1. download patch
2. place patch in lfs folder
3. double-click patch to run it
4. click extract
5. you will be warned that files will be overwritten, accept all
I haven't, target was to get it done on the XRT since that's my poison of choice most of the time. Having said that, The FZ50, and perhaps the XRR (for the slicks) could be good places to start off from
Dramatic effect It just feels that the outside front rolls over the sidewall - even with high-ish pressures and camber - or plain gets overloaded and slides laterally well before the inside lifts up.
Rounded edges everywhere, no character, looks bland as hell. Not a fan of huge lights, and like all modern sedans and hatchbacks, the front and rear are a million miles tall, it looks a facking truck. Maybe it's nice as a daily drive but I wouldn't get one to be proud of a purchase.
The porcupine isn't a meme though (or am I getting old?), it's a reference to a comic about one that always uses obscene language. http://www.kiroilevasiili.fi/
I've run out of paycodes, and submitted the request new activations form on the official support page a couple of weeks ago (at least one week ago anyway ). I still get a message that I don't have any unlocks available. Should I keep waiting (how long?), resubmit the form or send an email explaining my situation?
I'm unable to achieve this without an utterly utopistic setup, and I'd like some assistance. I'm looking for a setup that's fairly raceable (read: not a stunt setup) that would lift the inside front - just a little bit - when turning at racing speed on a level-ish surface. I realise it being completely in the air doesn't gain anything, but I'd like to see it happen.
