Thanx, u mean in LFS? And remember i need to reassign new function (Clutch) and not get the normal config settings. Do you mean the .CON files in LFS\data\misc... I see files there for DFP, momo and even this TM wheel i just got. Is that in there as standard? or do i have to delete those to clear the configs completelly..

gonna try a couple different things i guess and im so glad i didnt buy RGTc over the DFP, stupid TM:spidereek

It seems i just didn't know, couldn't figure out how to assign the axis to the functions. Unlike the keyboard buttons " which you have to press to assign...
The Axis you have to select with your mouse on the right side under calibration place. I can't believe it took me soo long to figure that out. Seriously im not THAT BAD, andi kinda wanna blame the overcomplicated interface of LFS. Yes its GREAT for the fact that u can adjust and configure to your likings, but maybe in some places it could be improved abit with "legibility" and simplicity. Or "we" should atleast start a guide on how to configure different settings and aspect of the game (or maybe i missed that somewhere "wiki") i could help with that...
So yea it works fine now, and i guess it worked all along, stupid ME!

Hey guyz, ive just bought this Ferrari wheel ThrustMaster Force Feedback Racing. Wanted to use the gas for clutch cause i also just bought a DFP. Buti can't seem to make it work in LFS at all. I unpluged my DFP so i can configure the Ferrari but once i deleted assigned axesi cant reassign any of them ingame. Didnt try any updated drivers orconfig tools yetbut gonna look into it now. I thought maybe im doing something wrong in LFS itself assigning or somethin..

So ok, updated drivers, installed caliTool. Calibrated in windows everything as it should be. And, LFS still doesn't assign the axis.
Now i'm sure im doing something wrong in LFS. I click the Clutch, so that i have to press an axis (under Axis/FF setting). After i press any axis i can't assign them. LFS seems to not to recognise them or something. Anyone had this problem before?

Funny thing is LFS sees the axis, cause the visual gauges onthe right under calibrate do move as they should. It just doesn't assign them when i try. And the first time i hooked it up, with the old driver even i think then, LFS did correctly assign the axis when i started it. Wheel was on X axis, Gas on Y and brake on Z.
Anyone know how i can maybe edit a config file manually and assign a propper axis that way?

Nice lynce i like it. 2 things maybe...
the text on the hood (engineering performance has moved abit i think doesnt look right)
and those tree branches are kinda weird on the topsectret car(anycar;p)
its just a brush u can find if im right.

its just i like the movies that promote LFS. Like de demo racer and other stuff. But things like this scare me and other people. Imagine someone doesnt know LFS and sees that vide, do you think its gonna make him wanna play this game?! dont think so. On the otherhand, ive seen alot of mediocre video's that get 100s of posts wow great driving etc, what game is that, looks great... Now thats the kind of video's i would like to see on this thread. Videos that would provoke that reaction.

Ok ive watched it. Read all the comments aswell. Agree with some but guyz choose your words. I've learned to be nice aswell. And ye name your thread acordingly please. I thought saikoD came to life. Ive made some movies myself and drift alot aswell altho cant do it with a wheel yet. ADB you guyz should really try a different direction then 2fnF. Stupid song idd scares alot of people. U have to think bout more things then try n record some drifts that worked and quickly switch to another frame. Everything needs work basicly. Heard bout flipcams? Only use custom camera views for your videos. And you really need a person who knows his stuff to montage it together. Aftereffects is great for adding that little extra.
so ye next time..
choose the music.
make a script.
have some storyline.(following a drift, tsuiso(should bedone way closer), or a race, they should be all meaningfull.)
put more work into recording it.
add some nice effects if needed(its needed:razz
and sync the music.

Hi guyz, ive been playing LFS for around 3 years i think already. just having fun in demo with a mouse. I finally came to my sences, and realized no matter if my friends can't play LFS. Ill make some new once here who can. So i got myself a DFP and LFS S2. Man i can't believe it took me soo long. Love this game. The only racing game i really play. I'm 24 and from the Netherlands. Just love driving, cant wait to get a propper job and get to racing(drifting). And ye its my second day with a wheel ever lol. And i found out i cant drift with a dfp at all almost. Really need a clutch and handbrake(not on the wheel). Just dont want to go back to using the mouse, so take it easy on me if u see me on the track. Ye thats my intro.
So Hi to all the new users and all the veterans. See you on the track.

p.s. for anyone interested i was on the forum before when i was in demo under a different name(dorikin).
and anyone not using a wheel like i was, DO IT NOW. Go get one, LFS is too realistic to play with anything but the wheel(900 degree one)what a fool i was..
