Hi all, my computer recently crashed, and i lots all of my sets (not to mention every other file on the computer).
One of which was my Westhill International XRT setup. I spent a good 100 plus laps perfecting that set, and the only thing i have left from it is a replay SPR, that i saved to a cd-rw. Is there anyway i can extract the setup from my replay? It really sucks to only be able to test drive my own car from the replay.
just wondering, how do you know what autocross is like? now that is.
anyways, id love to see a random corner generator. lol. that way they dont have to make a "nur ring" or whatever. although, that would be amazing to have in lfs, since it is "the proving grounds" in the automotive world.
oh yeah, prototype cars. id like my rotary powered 787b, please. something rotary powered.
i honestly think the whole point system is rediculous, i see people spin and recover at 100 mph on a straight ending up with 10k or going off into the dirt, still sliding non the less. its not a real basis of good driving, (line, angle, etc) its just how much you can "slide" your car around any way with out going below 30 mph (or whatever the limit is). dont get me wrong, i can still get 30k in a lap, but it doesnt tell me if i had a good line or not.
real drifting competions, such as D1GP, are based out of 100 points, depending on your line, angle, speed, etc. you get XXX/100. spin (also going off the road) you get zero, understeer gets you zero.
