k so me and azza was bored so we came up with a hotlap challenge mistatea (our witness) picked a combo and azza finds out in this thread and he has to try and beat it in the quickest time possible. It could be a huge WIN or a huge FAIL which will it be?

I know the difference between a sporty car and a sports car, im saying alot of their range are sporty.
Even if we use your definition of what a sports car is, who does the juding then? Everyone has different opinions of how a car handles etc. So that can't be the way we define a car as sports.
Well imo it is a sports car, we had one as a courtesy car and it was alright... Depends what you want from a car, not everyone wants to do trackdays.

Looking around they are lacking sports cars but a few their cars are definately sporty, especially the AMG stuff.

Id count the SLK as a sports car, suppose the MX5 isn't a sports car either then by you logic?

It still counts as something anyway, everyone knows Mercedes as a fast, luxury car manufacturer with a good history of cars. F1 is just a bonus and if people know something about F1 and know mercedes history in F1 and had the money why would they not be more tempted to buy one? I agree they can't make that much in car sales from F1 but theres lots of other way to make money, you get silly amounts of money in the championship table for each place you finish. Merchandise etc etc

Why are you getting so worked up about it? Colin McRae did it the year before he died and travis actually beat him because he flipped the car. Its fun to watch, i like watching it, thats all that matters. And they aren't really show off's they can actually drive too. Doesn't mean i think Block would be any good in WRC but why can't he have a go? Stop moaning and don't watch it if you don't like it, simples.

My quick attempt, hard to get big peices like the sill to look realistic.

Give me 30mins. Its hard so ill post of quite a few pictures and you guys can choose, i don't know how much of a challenge you want. I have mainly lotuses on my pc aswell so im going to look for some different stuff.
Well, ill go find a picture now, ill keep it exotic to keep interest. Ill make a pretty easy one first, if i can do it, everyone can. Then at the end of the week ill do a poll and see who did the best job. Maybe a points table or somthing too.
Maybe give us a clue instead of killing the thread?
Repair That Damaged Car Game
Ok so i had no internet one night and was bored so was looking for something to do and came across some damaged car pictures, so i thought it would be fun to see if i could repair it using gimp and got an idea for this game. So basically every week ill post a picture of a damaged car which you then have to fix using photoshop or similar programs.
To give you an idea, im really not good an photoshop or gimp but it was pretty fun and challenging.
I thought it might be fun, register your interest here and ill see about starting it.
Also some ideas would be nice and what we could do for the winner?
