Download program called Audacity, go to www.hornblasters.com and download an audio sample you want, then take a good audioclip form the sample, about 2-3 seconds long. Save it as *.wav file, then go to data/sounds folder and save that soundfile named as HORN1.wav for example.
Easy as that. If you want more specific advices, you gotta wait till tomorrow. I have to go to sleep
Well, mods can take mine off if it annoys people =P As long as they send the picture on my email or something =D Can`t find that small simple picie anywhere!
That`s quite true... Only few of the smartest demoracers/drifters hang around at the forums. I`ve met a LOT of kind people at the servers, which really have a look at their mirrors after they`ve spinned or something. But most of us just drive there like they owned the damn road!
Pisses me off! Will do (almost) anything for a S2 license.
My LFS isn`t able to convert some skins for some silly reason. Probably it`s something obvious but I`m getting a little tired and I was bored so I posted this useless reply.
Haha! Well, I love it, easy to handle and you feel every bump on the road. I mean, it really IS easy to control, doesn`t matter how worn out your tires are.
Mine haven`t been deleted.. And I hope it stays there, I don`t even remember where I got that picture from, and I think it looks cool, simple and plain and it shows what I like to do.
And moderators, please don`t take it off I promise to buy the S2 license as soon as possible, might take till next summer if I get an summer job. This time it`s not a hollow promise, atleast I hope I get something done right for the first time in my life =P
South City looks freaking awesome place to drift, can`t wait to get an S2 license!
Edit: Some skilled drivers there, looks like you can trust your team mates skills too. Haven`t gotten the possibility to do some really cool twin drifting with someone, since I can`t trust that they`re able to handle their cars... Only if I`ve done double dorifto with someone for around an half an hour I start knowing their driving lines and I`m able to keep some space for them and I know where I can try to get as close as possible.
As low as possible, as stiff as possible, as unrolling as possible, max bound, max rebound, 100% LSD, zero toe, no ackerman, max steering, normal tires with as low pressure as possible and loads of skill.
I was playing GT4 for quite a while... And now, yesterday, when I started playing LFS again after I got bored to GT4 (AI racers are stupid), My HANDBRAKE button broke down! Didn`t even think that I used handbrake this much untill now!
It`s freaking hard to keep the slide at the straightaways and link corner to another without handbrake Also saved me from many straightenings.
Guess now I gotta put my little money on a new wheel...
Any suggestions on a good wheel which is as reliable as my old one? I have Logitech Formula Force GP at the moment... Worked fine for around 5 years. And still works fine, handbrake button is just broken.
Edit: PS. You can see me drifting today at the HCGC Servers... Unless they`re full
I`m usually drifting at the Norwegian Fun Drifters server or the Swedish Drift server. Don`t know when I`ll go there next time, I`ll holla when I know.
And yeah, I`ve been demo racer for 2 years, haven`t gotten enough money to buy S2 Always gotten stupid giftcards as b-day presents, and my parents don`t pay me anything for doing some work at home :/
Wishing to get S2 as birthday present this year, but my parents excuse was that kid my age don`t play computer racing games anymore -.-
I had the avatar before the change that demo racers can`t use them, so as far as I don`t change it, I can keep it. And I think it`s cool, takes very little space out of lfs forum capacitety anyways, one of the last of the dieing breed. =p
