I would imagine they aren't even in the glove box, down in the centre console for easy access while driving!

Description : It has been identified that due to an incorrectly sewn-in tension wire strap for the back-rest cover of the front seats there may be contact between the tension wire of the seat and the filaments of the seat heater. The resulting short circuit can lead to fire damage on the front seat covers.
Remedial Action : Recalled vehicles will have the tension wires of the front seats insulated.

Yup, more common than you think. Seen it about anything from Pedal Boxes to Timing Chains 
Until they go wrong and you have massive repair bills

I bought mine last year for my old Polo even though they were the totally wrong size for the car! Luckily they were the exact size for this Polo so haven't had to buy anymore. Cost me £180 for these two though, and that's working in a tyre place

But means I can get my alloys refurbed for when I put them back on Why the sad face?
Pulled my finger out and cleaned the Polo, forgive the steelies 
Could always look into a 1.4 TDi 6N2 Polo, the three cylinder one..they seem to be pretty popular but I'm not too sure of the MPG figures
Firestone/Hankook/Uniroyal, anything mid-range will be fine for a Focus, but if you can just afford the Conti's then go for them

Good cars! I was looking at V5's before I got my Polo, but most of them are autos
They are good tyres, you won't have any trouble with them
Just did a lap in the Mustang at Laguna Rival event, the person who is now my rival (but not on my friends list)...
