Probably some incorrect axes got assigned to the joystick look X/Y. Check in Controls> Axes/FF and unassign those or assign appropriate axes for look functions.
The stream resolution can be set in VRidge settings. The pixelation is due to the limitations in bandwidth. You can try to increase the bandwidth from Vridge settings. But usually it is limited by how much your phone can handle. Even if you use USB 3 card, the phone may not support USB 3, so you may be getting lower speeds.
Reduce the framerate if still seeing pixelated. It's a compromise, but using a phone as VR headset is always gimmicky. Don't expect smoothness anywhere near a real VR headset. I couldn't manage it to drive anywhere near how you would on a screen, as the latency and stuttering is too high. But, It's nice to have the experience
Have you tried using different streaming options in Advanced video settings from the VRidge settings? Try using the Software (High compatibility) option.
Also USB tethering gives much better performance and reliability than wireless.
Replaced the new exe for the old one. But still shows 0.6U not supported on LFS startup. But, if you then open Lazy once again while LFS running it works.
Sorry, I tried it on my main install and it worked fine.
Also I can confirm the bug with speed on each gear below.
I think just restoring the lap automatically will be enough. It is already done in endurance races manually or via insim, but a native LFS feature that would automatically restore the last completed lap would be awesome.
In case of endurance races, it would be nice to be able to take that car from pits by his teammate (with the last completed lap) . But, this would require somehow specifying the drivers in one car before the the disconnection.
edit: Now that I think about it, getting the lap number reset immediately after reconnection may give some unfair advantage if they get a new car, by not doing pitstops and refuel. So the state of tyres, engine etc. needs to be restored. I'm guessing this would be possible in the future after the physics update.
I remembered something about the Overtaking lesson in Training.
When the Non-qualifying race restart is set to random, you can simply restart the training lesson and sometimes end up at the front. So you can simply drive away and complete the lesson.
I think there are ways to get the same result now, albeit a bit clumsy. You can open multiple instances of LFS. Then play the temp_mpr on each of them set to different views. It needs to be delayed a few seconds, otherwise, it will get the corrupt file message. Also syncing between each views is a pain too.
I managed to get 4 screen running. But with poor sync. I'm sure there are better solutions or insim tools or similar that would make what I done here look totally dumb
I'm running Firefox also. I checked the temp file stored by Firefox and it's marked read only. So it seems to be a problem with Firefox itself.
In IE there doesn't seem to have a problem directly running setups with LFS.
To be more clear, for me the files that are getting from lfs.net is normal. It only becomes read-only when it is opened with LFS to be copied automatically to setup folder. If I copy the setup manually to the data/setups folder it stays as normal.
I just checked and they are indeed set as read only files.
This only happens to the setups downloaded from online, and opened with lfs to automatically copy to setups folder. When I create new setup in-game, there is no problem.
I have problems in saving the changes made to the setups ever since I updated to 0.6T. The changes made are not shown when leaving the pits or checking the setup again despite showing "Saved setup" message. It is only affecting the setups I downloaded after the update. Old setups work fine, the changes made to them are saved.
I made fresh installs and on different partitions and the problem still persists. Also when I try to delete those setups, it shows "The setup could not be deleted".
