That's because most 'dubstep' I hear being put out now is almost an entirely new genre... there are good songs out there that don't descend into screams and noise.
If not, oh well, I tried People like different music, can't really change that. If you don't like anything in there, then dubstep probably isn't for you.
I listen to a lot of dubstep, but the whole Skrillex and all the high pitched screechy noises and stuff that I've been hearing recently just isn't my style. I prefer much more melodic stuff. I'll actually listen to only about 1 or 2 Skrillex songs.
That being said, I had an awesome time when Skrillex played in Detroit (at a festival, there were a lot of other acts I saw too), you don't necessarily have to love the music to get hammered and then have your eardrums blown out as you dance the night away right on the edge of the river in between all the city lights... it was a good time.
EDIT: and yes, if you go, earplugs might be a good idea... I had mine. The bass was brain fryingly loud.
why? The car essentially becomes an Ariel Atom V8 (at 1350lb, 500hp, no wings) , and those are perfectly able to navigate tracks without spinning.
EDIT : I am mixing Ariel Atom versions here I think. The V8 version has 500hp and wings, the regular has only 300 and no wings. Still, I think it'd be possible to drive the v8 with no wings, since wings provide little downforce at low speeds anyways (for the starts.)
The cars in NASCAR have windows though, the issues with a closed cockpit open wheeler come from lack of a way to exit quickly when they are upside-down.
sorry, but that'll never work Mustafar. Too many factors, what would happen if one car slowed as two were racing side by side? Penalize everyone?
And you can't possibly expect racing drivers to not go for gaps that are physically possible for them to fit in and make stick. No, this is a technical issue, not rules of the road issue.
I had a date that ended up with hooking up in the car in high school... then a cop showed up in the same parking lot we were in, chasing some kids... he stopped one of them and talked to him for about 5 minutes. By this time, we had put clothes back on, and got back into normal car sitting positions. The cop came over, asked us what we were doing, shining a flashlight in my face. I put my angry face on, and said "talking... about relationship issues"... he paused, then said "Well, with two people sitting in a car in a dark parking lot... it looks like you are doing drugs." Really? that's what he thought? We were doing some sort of drugs? The windows were all steamed and everything, and I kicked her underwear back under the seat as I was talking to him, when I noticed it on the ground.
Dunno how weird that is, but being walked in on by a cop is certainly the most interesting thing that has happened to me.
the most heart wrenching part is the last 2 minutes, the description of his family and team owner at the hospital where he died, hearing the announcer crying during Jamie Little saying that, and the final goodbye...
yeah, I'm crying as I type this and watch it again.
Ehh, I wasn't being that technical. For the Indy Cars, it's a whole host of things, between the open wheels and the wings and the rest of the aero... the wings let them run higher speeds, which makes it a lot more dangerous too
But part of the reason I said things with wings is when NASCAR recently had wings on the back, when they got turned backwards they had a tendency to fly.
There's at least two, since here is the same thing.
I'd go ****ing mental if someone did this to my car, and so would pretty much everyone else in the USA I expect. I honestly cannot even fathom how this is an okay thing to do in some places.
That's because Andy Blackmore didn't do the illustrations. He's very professional about the entire process of keeping them up to date, but his illustrations aren't anything special...
considering that, I'd say somewhat a lack of safety. off the start line, and one backed into the wall... I mean sure, they were fairly hard hits, but I've seen way harder, all the time.
