Well th84, you do seem to take the mickey and insult the CRC and stoney whilst on servers, and seem to be taking an agressive atitude here......need i say more as to who is over whatever the situation was?

I know this bug, it happens with all the cars on the track...digs in around 30% accross the track from the inside rumble strip. been caught out many times. caused a few accidents too. as the car stops dead.

As for the difference between reasonable speed and being fast, its just a matter of using setups, driving lines and driving styles to suit the controller you are using. XFR im not too good in, think i got 8th out of 20drivers in a championship using the XFR. Im also in the top four in an FXO/RB4 championship. But now im straying O/T. I find LFS isn't too bad for people who use KB compared to some games, i havent had a problem. (But then again i found lfs as the S1H patch was released.....so i dont know what it was like before) I have used keyboard, pad and wheel on LFS, i feel comfortable with the wheel, and would be faster with it......but still, im not going to buy a new computer table and chair etc just to make room for the wheel, racing is racing no matter what controller you use.

XRR and a south city track! (i get addicted lol) its a good fun combo. unless you dont have concentration.

KB is fine for most of the cars....zeug, u want some help? lol i can drive the FO8 fine lol. not exactly fast (1:00 at Fern bay green Rev and 2:10 and kyoto gp long) but still, not exactly years behind (just months) I cant see how people have trouble on kb, i have to use is as i have no room for anything else lol.

I can get it off the line using keyboard, best way to do it is (if you aren't already) use manual gears, stick it in 3rd off the line and boot it.should be slow, but you'll get off the line! Once you get the hang of it, try using second, as it starts the wheelspin hit 3rd.(all using standard gearing) I cant remember what diff. im using, but try different differentials, and differential settings, see if they make a difference.

yes the pitlane thing has problems, but i kind of know what these are.
Think of it this way, if nobody reaserches and tests it, how will it get developed?

but as we say when we are in server, if there is trouble go to www.cleanracersclub.org and tell us so in the shoutbox or in a post on the forum, and we will sort it out.

sorry to hear that oOOOo. i was in the server admining up until around an hour after u came in, i think u must just pick the wrong times!

You must have caught a bad moment mate. ive been in tons of demo servers in the last year, its the cleanest one ive found. Yes u DO get wreckers, but they are dealt with imeadiately if there is an admin there. And as mkinnov8 said, if there is a problem go to the CRC website and hopefully an admin will get to the server to help asap.

Make sure you arent using any file sharing programs or msn etc. while playing LFS, can make a BIG difference.

This wasnt me personally, but a friend who also plays LFS.
He was playing a le man game on the PSX, decided to do a whole 24hour race non-stop by himself, (think it took 25hours with food and toilet breaks) {and gentlefoot, just incase you're wondering, hes one of your team mates lol}

problem i have is i use the arrow keys to drive (yes im on keyabord) so i cant actually use the F12 system very well

ANYONE is welcome as long as they are CLEAN!! im sure setups can be given out and adjusted for people, ( i will be willing ot just sit and tweak setups all practice sessions) and it doesnt matter if you are slow or fast, just come along. R4R will also be looking for new members so keep it sharp

well skid boost would be to do with the sound, and refresh rates to do with the graphics card,silly question, but it your graphics card 75hz compatable?
