Why again? Not gonna help your prospects. Maybe drift on demo servers a little? And there are MANY demo people with way over 1000 online KM and you don't see them begging, and they the ones that really would DEF put a licence to good use so registering and posting 2 virtualy identical threads is moronic, irritating and insulting to the people that where or are demo racers for a long time . Just my 2 cents
Disappointed to be honest, theres still something very.....wierd with this. In most racing sims/games you can tell where its lacking and where arcade elements creep in etc. But GT5P and now this "DEMO" just have something very strange with how the cars feel and maybe I just need to train my brain abit more to learn the cues the game gives you about what the cars doing but right now this tases like shit sandwich.
As it is right now if you have a even half testicle you should be exiting as fast if not faster than those on track in most cars. I disticntly remember changing up earlier exiting the pits in FBM than when on a lap, don't have wheel now so can't check but.
Although, it is in a bad position if people are racing for position while someone rejoins. Maybe joining on the left of the straight but after the exit of the corner so any drivers coming along can easily pass rejoining drivers, although the rejioning car may infact be quite a bit faster.
What kind of team are you looking for?
Race. A team that can help me quicken up and that I can help once I quicken up, and learn. Age:
21 Country:
South Africa Preferred Car/Track:
GT, singleseaters mostly but willing to learn any. Average Laptime on Your Preferred Car/Track:
Once I've learn't the track and are comfortable with the car and setup(know where I can push), 1-2s off WR per minute of lap time. That being said my mileage is low and haven't learn't MANY of the tracks yet. How Active Are You?
Varies due to University but I'd say, med to high activity, higher if I'm needed. What Kind of Control do you use?
DFGT Time Zone:
GMT +2 (with no DST ever)
I'm gonna wait till DX11 gets up to speed then go for multi core, as DX11 will make it very easy for game makers to make games that properly utilize more cores and multi GPU setups. But if going Nehalem now, I'd go for the Lynnfield i7's(8xx) over the Bloomfield (9xx) ones, cheaper with v.good turbo boost and almost as good, i5(7xx) maybe but they miss out with hyper threading.
Please don't watch your feet when you drive in real life. Kay.
I would rather they spend they're time on something else, its a unnecessary bit o eye candy that after you've seen once, thought a cool, you forget about it, especially in a sim. IMO
Make sure to press that little black button till the green light flashes very fast, makes it the most stable.
Its a decent wheel for what it does, and I have to say that Forza 2/3 + DriveFX feels better than GT5P + DFGT, with a wheel (even a crappy one) and all assisits off, you start to feel the individual car characteristics SO much better. Then you draw comparisons to real life counter parts characteristics and there are quite a few/lot of spot on. TVR's seem a good e.g. F430, Gallardo, too.
Dogs are so much more ALIVE, they communicate with you with they're eyes. They seem to know whats going on alot more than cats. Cats are well.... less "connected" to they're owners.
