exactly what i mean, to follow the main idea, to leave the performances in a perfect balance, adding some littles customizations, i hate NFS, i only have fun to unlock parts and customize 3/4 cars then the only thing that makes sense to do is : Programs -> EAGames -> LFSCarbon -> Uninstall -> Are u sure u want to completely remove the program etc etc? -> YES

There it will come the devs ability to produce a range of parts that have different shapes but same performances.
It's just like xfg or xrg.... totally different cars, totally similar lap times... don't u think?
I just think to add that customizing touch to the simulation that adds taste and realism. Something new and fresh that can make u love more lfs.
If people, (like me) loves so much skinning cos it's so easy, can u imagine how could it be to customize too? Maybe putting on 3 or 4 bumper shapes for car, so u can fit them with painting and your tastes. Not neons or nos or heavyweight MDF subwoofers, monitors and xbox360... that is bull@@@t... no, not bull@@@t, just another kind of passion, we have the racing passion, it's another planet

Come on boys don't be so hard to me! I just meant that it would be cool to model for example a bumper differently, not to add useless stereos subwoofers or other things.
I know that racing is racing, and tuning is tuning, but as an example i can tell u this:
Have u ever made a skin for your xrt, or xrr and found that front bumper so old style and ugly? So u make the skin and also mount a different shape bumper, just to give a touch of customization, not saturday night tuning in the shopping center parking
Or just to fit a different rear spoiler that meet our tastes or different kinds of rims instead of the same and the same and still boring the same.
This is a simulation, i use it as a simulation, and the multiplayer part of it puts you really into a race, i know, so it's not a beauty contest, but why we loose hours and hours making skins?
I mean, it's cool to be the fastest, but what if my car is even the cooler? It's a double satisfaction.
So i was talking about little customization changes, clearly not applicable on F1 or other cars with a strict regulation.
Maybe i shouldn't use the word TUNING in my thread.... i know.... it immediately puts in your head coloured neons and 6000 watts amplifiers

It's kinda strange that a boy like me, who loves pure performance and settings suggests something like this, but it's a part of motorsport that i also like, and could bring some new dimensions to lfs world.
I could suggest (sorry if someone already did) to introduce exterior and interior tuning, nothing to improve performance, just to give something more than the usual skin making.
For example someone could put a different steering wheel, or gear leather cover, or something else to personalize the cockpit.
Or just the rims, the spoilers and bodykits, maybe something like autosculpt on NFSCarbon.
It should be nice, particularly in drift events, where racers shows their customized rides. Cool!

I found the problem! Tonight i played for about 1 hour and a half.
Yesterday evening i had care to turn off and disconnect the wheel. So... this piece of s@@t just becomes hot and starts absorbing huge quantities of energy and messes up.
Thrustmaster told me it's my pc and don't want to substitute my wheel.... just sc@@w themselves, in 10 days i will have a brand new g25, then we eill see if it's my pc...
My pc is not a monster, but i bought good quality stuff and then assembled bymyself

2x512 pc 533
amd athlon 64 3500 +
ati radeon x1300 256 ddr2
2x maxtor sata hd
450 w psu
i think it's a good machine.

I'm not sure but i read somewhere that u can't play on Vista.
I also have a couple of remedies to all problems:
1 remove the mouse ball, and start screaming inside your mouse
2 buy some gallons of gasoline and a box of matches

I disconnected everything, i only left a fan (the system one)...
The problem stills there!!!
The powered hub solved the problem, so i think is the psu.
But u know what?
I decided to sell on ebay my wheel, and to buy a DFP.
Then i'll see what happens, if it will reboot again, i'll change the psu.
No more money wasting on shit!
With all the money spent several times buying things with brands like: hercules, trust, thrustmaster etc etc. i could have a pro driving station by now
Fortunately i built my pc with very good stuff (everything but the psu seems)

I use to play lfs on my Nismo tuned Commodore 64, believe it or not, this baby can beat the 0.0001 fps with just 1.1 bars of boost
I can see bright and clear with my black and green monitor with a 10x12 resolution.
You know what? I run the game from the cassette recorder!

Already done, as the Thrustmaster technical support told me, the situation got better, but even if later the problem still there.
They also suggested me the hub

Now i disconnected the 12 cm fan and 2 8cm and i'm going to test.

talking about the hub, it's a powered one, with his ac adapter, but it gives me the locking trouble. I'm going to bring it back to the shop and change it with something else.

By the way, if u tell me that a 600 watts psu could solve this i will buy it.

Everytime i use my Thrustmaster Enzo Ferrari force feedback wheel, my pc reboots after 20/30 minutes.
TS Technical support told me it's the usb power option that says Allow computer to turn off etc etc. i disabled that, and i also bought a powered usb hub... u know what? the rebooting problem is gone but now after some minutes the wheel goes all the way right and at full throttle, so i have to disconnect and reconnect it.

Considering that i also have some modding stuff:
3 blue led 8 cm fan
2 30 cm neon tubes
1 red/green/blue led 12 cm fan
red light sata cable

What u suggest me to do?
Do u think that modding is the problem? i could install some switches to turn off modding while i play... mah... waiting for suggestions, i can't take no more!
