So as you can read from here, Patch C has now bene released. Since this new version will be imcompatible with B, our current version of the slickmod will be made obsolete.
I'm no expert with finding slickmods, but my guess is that it'll take a while for one for Patch C to come out. This may have a direct effect on Round 4's date, potentially calling for another date change if we fail to find a slickmod for Patch C and that will most likely prove to be disastrous for the whole series' popularity.
It's no secret that we have been dealing with certain schedule issues in this particular series, and GT3 has a bigger priority since it's our flagship series at the moment.
So there are a few things that need to be discussed about the leagues being organised here, so here are some questions to discuss here:
The GT3 (Touring Car Cup) is Revolutionary Racing's pride and joy and one of the most popular series in the first semester of each year, and we are keen on keeping that status for the upcoming season. So should L4Slicks stop being a championship to allow for more time to prepare the 2013 GT3 season?
We are forced to do changes to our schedule, but regardless of what we'll do with L4Slicks, I still think it's a great concept and that it shouldn't be shelved straight away, which leads me to this - Should we just organise one fun event with L4S spec cars? If yes, what format would you like to see?
These two questions are all I have (they raise enough doubts imo), and I'm leaving them here because I want to hear your opinions on this (aaaand because it's impossible to discuss them with the admins alone).

But not a win after 13 games? Must be demoralising to know that all their points come from ties.
I also think that this year's Portuguese League looks really promising in terms of close competition. After 10 games played, Porto and benfica are only separated by goal differences, teams like Rio Ave and Paços Ferreira are also up there, Sporting is doing a Liverpool with only 2 matches won...you'd expect the points to be more spread out by this point, but it isn't!
Well damn, I think I was doing pretty well with these answers during the early season. Turns out I ended up overrating Senna and Grosjean and underestimating Kimi and Hulk, and Caterham still didn't get anywhere near the points. Only got the easiest questions right in the end
I'm not spreading hate or anything, in fact I'll stay well away from favouring any driver - both Vettel and Alonso deserved to be champions (and if any hater/fanboy tries to counter this, they can shut the **** up because everyone knows it's true).
The anticlimax thing was more directed towards how the race ended under SC. Was Di Resta OK, by the way?
EDIT: Did anyone notice that Kimi was the only guy to finish every race this season?
The drastically low number of confirms compared to other rounds plus shortage of admin staff for today led to this last-hour decision which we are sorry for announcing this late.
As a result, the first confirms deadline will be pushed back to 19:00 UTC of 30th November. Anyone who has confirmed their absence can still overturn their decision at any time.
Ah well...in Macau the race isn't over until the chequered flag is out. I'm just hoping there's no 1989 repeat, where the race got stopped 3 times in T1 if I'm not wrong
The start of the second half of the season will take place at South City Classic (SO1) - Two Races, 31 laps each race (including pace lap).
Raceday will be the 1st of December, so one week and a half until race day.
Don't forget that BOTH the Ragequit AND the 75% race completion rules will take effect from this round on as an attempt to reduce the fairly high number of retirements we have seen on recent races.
The admins will still keep a lookout on the NO CHAT rule - it is there to be respected, not to be broken every 5 minutes by angry racers who have just been involved in an incident. However, we know it's also very important to investigate certain dodgy racing attitudes and we will pay more attention to those.
I'm still getting used to the results' systems on the Revolutionary Racing site, and seemingly the 3 times I've done them, Ray or Matt had to fix something that I did wrong.
We are also creating accounts for those who haven't created theirs yet, as a way of making our work easier when it comes to preparing the results. And if you didn't notice, we're leaving the "laps led" count off because it just consumes too much time while reviewing the replays, and consequently preparing the results.
Well, those yanks usually file lawsuits on anything as small as a name coincidence (F150 anyone?). I could seriously see hundreds of "disgruntled" parents taking Kimi and Vettel to court because their children heard them swearing.
True. Every PM I have sent for each Round said that we'd come down hard on people who disrespected the NO CHAT rule, so don't say we didn't warn you. It's embarassing enough that I ended up breaking that rule myself after Race 2, anyway.
We'll pay more attention to the race now - specially after the crashfest that happened two weeks ago.
