It also means that the playability of the sim takes precedence over how realistic the physics are. It's not a mechanical simulator, it's not a tyre simulator, It's a racing simulator. LFS, as it is right now without the new tyre physics, is a beautifully playable game.

What about a Wordpress site? Your basic website/blog is completely free, totally modifiable, and if you have a bit of html & css knowledge you don't need to pay for any of their premium options, and there's masses of (mostly free) widgets and plugins to add just about any other functionality you need.
We use it quite a lot at work for clients who don't have a large budget, but still want a fully designed and branded site with full CMS functionality.
If you are prepared to pay for your own domain and hosting, you can even run your WP site from there without any hassles, or migrate it there at a later date...

It's not that vob mods affect the hitbox, it's that the hitbox model itself can be modded to delberately cause problems for other drivers.
Most modders just want cool-looking cars, but there are a few individuals out there that would use it for malicious purposes, and therefore a blanket ban is the best approach until it can be properly controlled.
When you're capturing the video, could you please press and hold ctrl & shift together, and that way we can at least see his username.
If you're not going to report him properly, these complaints aren't ever going to amount to anything.

In situations like that, you should be reporting him to the owners of the server - in this case, it's an AirAttack server.

Joined the server on Sunday morning for a few lazy laps - ended up staying until lunchtime - great fun!
Super tight track with really unforgiving barriers made for some great racing, and a masterfully created environment gave a nice sense of realism to the layout.
10/10 will be back next weekend

The spacebar becomes your left mouse button when the VR crosshairs are visible.

I see a problem, but it's only something you'd pick if you were familiar with branding and marketing.
You won't ever see Lucozade and Coca-cola sponsorship on the same car. Lucozade is a Pepsi associate (via Suntory Japan), and in a case where Lucozade was the prime sponsor (featured on the nosecone), Coke wouldn't go near it. Vice-versa, if Coke were the prime sponsor, Suntory (the owners of Lucozade) would not allow one of their brands to run the risk of being associated with one of their associates' competitors.
Additionally, cropping logos is only okay when the livery is primarily about that logo. Secondary positionings, such as the front wing, would not rotate, crop or otherwise compromise the integrity of the branding. If I were the branding manager for Coca-cola, I would not allow the logo to appear as you have it here. Best case scenario, they would make you redo the stickers. Worst case, they would withdraw their sponsorship...
I don't expect that anyone will care, and that this is all semantics, but it's something you might like to keep in mind for your next livery...

^^^ Exactly. Even when online too - I think your computer calculates a bit of other peoples' physics in between being updated by the incoming data, hence the weird swerving you see from people with lag...
You'll need to go here to purchase a license. S1 will get you the TBO cars and a few new circuits, but the biggest feature for a lot of people is the ability to drive on custom layouts and utilise the layout tools, which is how all of these custom drift tracks are made.
For the best value, S2 gives you 11 more vehicles including open-wheelers and the powerful GTR cars and more circuits, including the now legendary Westhill Motorsports Park.

I had a thought though: the more physics calculations to be done, the less cars peoples' puters could handle. 1000hz physics would be great, but there's a good chance that it would reduce the grid by 90% too...
Little known fact: there are actually very few LFS servers where deliberately causing crashes is tolerated. You might get away with it for a while on an unmoderated server, but it won't last forever. Someone will report you, or in some cases, a remote monitor will expose your activities, and an admin will serve you with a ban at a later date. They tend to be a lot longer than the 12 hour vote-bans you might otherwise be get too.
If you like crashing, either find a crash/demolition/stunt server, or stick to wrecking AIs in single player mode.

Bullet numbering
Not really a bug, more of an oversight/typo, but the numbering of the bullet points in the forum rules go from 1.1 to 1.6 in the first part and then the second part has the same numbering starting from 1.1, whereas it should be 2.1, etc...
Check out the forum rules - 1.5 applies to your second video, and you are running the risk of 1.6...

You should find the solution in Options/View - i believe there's a slider for view rotation. You can hit shift-O while driving/parked to see what is happening to your view in real time.
