Quote from DeadWolfBones :Some more

Looks like the funniest motoring event ever! The attention to detail on the cars is immense! Brilliant photography as usual.

Has anyone here attended to LeMons in the past?

Quote from DeadWolfBones :First thing to do is get a Giottos Rocket Blower and do a dry cleaning. This will get most of what's on there. I've only had to wet-clean the sensor on any of my cameras a total of twice in all my years of shooting.

If that doesn't work, I like the Copper Hill Method: http://www.copperhillimages.com/?pr=Tutorials2

If you do a wet cleaning like the one above, my best advice is to be conservative. It's easy to get too aggressive and scratch something by accident. So take your time, be careful, and breathe deeply. You know: measure twice, cut once.

Got the Rocket Blower and the sensor seems to be clean now – at least I can't identify any grain of dust on it. But there still are some ugly spots in the pictures ... I'm afraid these come from inside the lens system ... Is there anything one can do about that?

Or is it possible there are still particles on the sensor, even if they seem to be invisible?

Quote from TAUTV1S :Hello.
My first post in this thread, so sorry for a little spam.

I wouldn't call these "spam". Maybe some are quite good, but the majority of these is … simply beautiful! And very atmospheric at least. I also like your style of post production.

Thanks for the advice, mates! Will definitely get my hands on the Giotto thingy first.

Anyway, I fiddeled about the ND filter a bit and the result is quite interesting:

Quote from Billeh :DeadWolfBones: Mine need's doing aswell is it easy enough to do yourself? And what would you recommend mate?

I'd be thankful for a recommendation as well. Is it possible to clean the sensor yourself without damaging anything? I heard it should better be done by a professional, but that would be quite expensive I guess ...

May I use them kinda as an avatar around the internet? Would be awesome.

Thanks mate! Would there be the possibility of a tiny credit or link? Where'd you like to use them, btw?

This is just insane and ridiculously awesome! The very best motorsports could ever be. Leaving each other nothing but the space that's needed and fighting until the very last corner. Chapeau!

Maybe you should try Game Stock Car 2013 (GSC 2013).

Despite it's misleading name you'll not drive around in ovals there! In this simulation the term "stock car" refers to a brazilian touring car cup comparable to the Aussies' V8 Supercars. And these are. A. Blast!

There are Formula cars as well: a 70s F1 series called "Formula Retro", a late 80s/early 90s F1 series called "Formula Classic", a contemporary F1 car ("Formula Reiza", called after the producing company) and a F3 car.

Not to forget: There are karts and several circuits specially designed for these as well. And a stock Chevrolet Camaro. And a classic Chevrolet stock car. And the MINI challenge. And there will be free content to be added in the future!

What I really like - no, love!!! - about this title is the sound! Roaring along in said stock cars will give you the chills! Tyre sounds seem to be spot on, too, which makes it quite dramatic if you have understeer.

And because in principle it's rF1 with physics and AI maxed out, it will probably run on your system as well. Give it a try! You can download and try it 60 minutes for free!
