Thanks to ImportedFantasy for the render. Below is the in-game view.

Using WinXP SP2 English with non-Unicode software automatically using Chinese.
Read-Only protection has been removed, no change. I am closing the game with ESC and pressing the Exit button, bottom left corner of the screen. I'd guess that the issue is about non-Unicode software using Chinese.

Ok, it's back again. I reinstalled LFS. Changed all settings. And back we are. Mp/h, right-seated... What's the problem? Do I have to drive like the British now?

I'd like to try deleting LFS and download a fresh copy. However, I read in LFS.net that I only have 2 unlocks available? So I can only unlock it 2 more times? Is this true? If that is true, it's the biggest shit I have ever seen. You got my money, now you let me unlock it as often as I want.

I unchecked Read Only. However the problem persists. Today I changed my default language for non-unicode software to Chinese instead of English.
Might this be the problem? I need Chinese for some of my software to work properly, but it would suck if LFS is not using Unicode.

My driver settings get reset.
I am driving on the left, use km/h and Bar. I use my FXR Skin as well as my setup. However, everytime I start LFS, those settings get reset to the default settings. So it's set to mp/h, default skin and default setup.
I then need to disconnect from the server, go to my Options and click ok as the settings there are correct. When I now join a server, everything is good again. Thoughts?

Well, I am down to 1MByte / s. I will see if there's more to compress out of it.

Just asking: Anyone with experience compressing a HQ 16:9 720p movie? I currently edit one, uncompressed it's about 1GB a minute which obviously is nice for local enjoyment, but unnecessary large for the web. I plan to have 4 minutes in the end, so do you think a file size of 300 MB is reasonable? Lot's of movement by the way.

Battlefield 2 is probably going to be another one sometime soon.

I love the FBM. It's the car I can drive best. Yet, I still lack 3 or 4 seconds on average to the World Record. :-/
