Our 11th S2-league season starts this sunday, with as always, very interesting combo's, beginning with FOX at South City long Reversed. The S2-league with the different skill-classes is always a guarantee for an action packed race. Next month Absolute-beginners will start their fifth year in LFS. As always we have some nice championships with the S2-league, the Le Mans league or the newly to be announced OPEN-CONFIG league. Maybe also we will renew the Formula league or the slow-championship.
Also the class-championships are very interesting, for every driver's level of skill. So see ya all in the new 5th year!

The /var/subdomain/ab-league/html/ link is what the problem is about. The link is wrong. We can't get rid of it.

BOT = Board of Trusties. A few old men who make decisions about the Absolute-beginners leagues.

If anyone wants to know the password for sunday they can pm me. The password for during the week is same as always.

We discussed the restrictions in the Bot and they are ok as they are.

Last sunday we had the 2 hour Le mans race at Aston North. Here are the results:

This weekend we will be driving in the Le Mans league at AS7 (Aston North) track. In this 3 hour race you may team up with someone to race as one team. (90 mins of race for each racer) Only the team result counts. The cars on track will be FXR+XRR+FZR.

Yes, but for the individual championship both racers share the points. So a first place will only get you 15 points each instead of 30. In the team championship you get 30 points.

Hello guys,

Just a topic to tell you how it goes with AB. We are still racing every week with races in the S2-league, the FZ5-cup and also the Closed formula league. The seasons are all underway, but you may always join. In the S2-league we have a very big grid. The last few races we had to split the grid into two separate Races on separate servers.

In a few weeks time we will start again with the 3 hour Closed Le Mans league races. Keep an eye at our site for the latest news: www.absolute-beginners.nl

I think it would be nice to have position numbers used in the race position list. Now, it is not very easy to see at what position every driver is.

It has been a while since i put a message on this LFSforum. This does NOT mean that Absolute-beginners.nl is not very active. In the contrary: In January we will start with our new seasons in the Open S2-league and also in the Formula league. Lately we had very big grids with up to 32 racers at the grid. Very nice races with clean and fair battles.

New is the Fz5-cup, with 6 evenings racing with succes ballast or intake restrictions to make it even more exciting. After the Fz5-cup we will continue with our beloved Le Mans league 2 hour races. We are thinking to also allow tagteams, were one car has two drivers. (driver change after one hour of racing)

During the Christmas holidays we will have some nice one-off clubevening races, with for example the famous Blackwood Classics or a nice Rally Raid Cup.

I don't know how big the userbase of LFS is, but they all got it right and working. No need for a setup-package.

Question: does the installer now also put entries in the registry of windows? If not then you could still easily copy your install.

Please, please, please keep it the old way it was. It's the easiest way to put the game on your PC and also the easiest way to back it up. I just copy the whole directory to my USB-stick and i have a backup. I copy it to another PC and play on from there. I don't see any benefit in using an install.exe or a setup.exe. It makes it unnecessarily complicated.

I was glad LFS had no install/setup program. Totally unnecessary to have it.

This works for me:

-Uninstall AVG
-Restart XP
-Install AVG 9.0 clean
-Restart XP

No more minimizing!!
