Young drivers do get battered in UK. I could insure five M5s for £2,900.

I don't mind the sound, could do with being a bit louder.

I did watch Spa 2000 last night though. The V10 was a special noise.

If there is a limit for the entire race, then I don't see the point of having a flow limit. Having no flow limit would allow more wide variety of engine strategy.

Don't think Red Bull have a leg to stand on, which is a shame because it was a great moment for Ricciardo and the Aussie fans that is now taken away from them, especially if it is not actually the fuel flow exceeding the limit that caused the issue but rather how the faulty sensor was handled by the team - although that is the team's fault.

All my answers would be irrelevant as it's pure guesswork and no one will care what anyone has guessed by the end of the season.

Anyway, everyone will be pulling down their trousers very soon so we'll see who's got what. Can't wait.

Have you tried that pre-render frame thing? That helped, but you don't have the feel from the wheel or your arse like you do in real life and reacting mostly to what you see / hear leaves you a bit behind the car.

It's not supposed to be easy though; first time I tried a casual drift around a corner near my house I did an instant snap 180. It was wet though

Operate Steam in offline mode, in the short term. You would only have to worry about it when you need to get a new PC, change your hardrive etc.

Having said that, businesses with that many customers rarely just close the doors and everything ceases to exist. The platform itself is an asset, so someone would buy it (for a song) and allow it to continue operating. It would be an ideal crowdfunding opportunity.

It's the same with many other companies. What happens if Costa Coffee goes bust? How will I redeem my "Buy 5 coffees get the 6th free voucher"? I own that coffee! What about football / theatre / cinema / gig tickets bought in advance?

Quote from Oliver Feistkorn :Hard times for a team which mainly consisted of single seater drivers, as there is no competition left.
But some of us are still around here, just following new interests now.

Always enjoyed racing with 1st BFA. Always very correct and good racers.

Never really understood the community's obsession with GT endurance racing. We'll have to arrange an old school open wheel event!

Quote from BlueFlame :And where does it say clearly you live on the Isle of Man? IE, how the **** am I supposed to know? Population is what less than 100,000? Out of 60 million people in the UK I assumed you weren't on the Isle of Man. Massive fail right there.

From now on maybe I'll assume everyone lives on the Isle of Man? What a wonderful warped point of view that will be. Still won't satisfy you lot though will it? Clearly I don't give a shit though.

I refuse to engage in a battle of wits with an unarmed man.

Quote from buedi :Everyone can have his opinion of course. If this is yours that´s fine.
In my point of view I am sick of so called "Simulators" with the Nordschleife where I only had fun for minutes because of the bad physics. I hope AC changes this and I finally will have good physics paired with the Track I like so much.
Yes, TT would also be fantastic, so would be the Targa Florio. For those I go back to GPL still.

Also, the Nordschleife for me is not (only) about driving the insanely fast cars. I´d rather have some more Stock / slower and low grip cars like we have them in LFS for example (XF GTI, UFR, RB4 etc...), where you have to manage your energy on some parts (for example the right hander after the Ex-Mühle where it goes up the hill... if you waste your energy with a slower care on that corner you lose tons of time).

But as I said: Everyone can have his opinions. But I hope that the market can and will have something for everyone out there

Not saying one or the other, just that everybody has the Nordschleife (which I still only truly enjoy in GPL), so having a "halo" track that no one else has would be a good USP.

Quote from buedi : Good physics, THE Track and a bunch of cars.

Nordschleife is lovely and all that, but it's been around so many sims in so many iterations it would be cool for AC to have a different "signature" track.

IOM TT Course would be cool and arguably better suited to the fastest cars. I also already have it memorised

Quote from amp88 :That's part of the system (along with possibly using KERS). However, many/most teams were using cylinder cut this season and the KERS system explained above isn't against the rules either. Hence why I was asking if Funnybear had any proof that Vettel's car was illegal, or if he was just crowing along with the mindless drone of repetition.

I'm waiting for him to post the Mark Webber picture from Canada, which also shows who shot JFK and proves that we didn't land on the moon.
