I know, I kept it more pure/simple on purpose, and I totally agree on the text at the beginning, it could have been better etc - and not like I have no ideas etc, but I struggled for making After Effects work for ages, and ended up with no AE - with which I could have done great things (especially texts)
Youtube HD already looks great, but there is the source: Hi-Res download link (.avi, 1440x900, 40 FPS, 257MB) - although the filesize is quite big, I couldn't compress it any more, it's already less sharp.
That's what I nearly did. I heard the trancy element and didn't wanna keep listening - it only lasted a second though cuz the beat came in showing me it's dnb not some trance-psy thing.
But again, it's getting used to something - now I listened to it 3 times and like the first part, too.
Weird I haven't watched the actual video once in the meantime? haha
Things were too distant for me in that vid right at the beginning
Most people who don't like drum and bass simply prefer something else - I think. Not because of the scene etc - like there is this track, many people don't like and turn it off after 10 seconds.
The sad thing is, if something is good, like drum and bass (not exactly htis tune), other people start using it, too, who have no idea what a real or good drum&bass is.
But I have to say, once that whining sound is gone, the beat is wicked - from someone who can appreciate good dnb.
I think it's a bad match with the video.. I mean I see great potential in this track, if the visual is proper for it (a decent video instead of this)
Btw no slickmod at all, (never tried it), so feel free to call it "stock drift" -since BeSpoke doesn't change physics.
Oh and I'll take it as an insult it wasn't about drift skills/moves/scenes But I see your point, editing efforts were more than the drifting itself (which I don't mind, was fun doing it)
About this replay in the topic, nice drift yes, but at least use some additional cameras
Wel that was a nice drifting, how much editing in a video is a preference of the maker.. This way the drifting itself was in focus, that's good.
Too bad there's the license question.
Well the video editing is really nice, and so are the drifts most of the time, surely a good video but the orange-background outro with the keyframing is really weird, although it's the limitation of the software as well. At least effort put into it.
As for the music, it's always the editor's taste/preference, if I gave a score or something I wouldn't give less "just cuz I don't like the music" - since it goes okay with the vid.
Personally it's like 7, but that's not what matters:
Technically (editing, content, a/v sync etc) it's around 9/10
Good job.
Hey that is a nice quick video, nice a/v sync as mentioned before.
And it does make me remember squad's vids, too.
Though this one is done with good, quicker edits, not 2 seconds without some edit, that's sweet.
And good to hear that inspiration thing
I imagine you browsing through these posts looking for comments on say video quality and you find it bothering that you have to scroll too much due to others talking. Right..
Do it, it's that simple.
There's no need to talk about economy, people are aware of that countries are different. But trying to find excuse is worse than staying quiet.
That's so true. I've been living in Scotland and am disappointed xD
the different lines in cases and the adapting is thumbs up, not a
copy-him-like-im-sticked-there type (which is not easy to do) but some more creativity/action.
yea. TO members are awesome.
