Join dat does does not, but peoples user id's do. They are identical to the order in which people registered on the LFS website

I'm just below 1000, which was sometime in september 2002 iirc. The user above me has 62xxx so he's pretty new

Thread and posts at RSC will not be deleted or removed. Some sections are closed for new posts there (bug reports, improvement suggestions). The main RSC LFS forums will continue to be open, as there are sections for almost every sim at RSC.
