I've been noticed via discord about that issue aswell, I'll tweak the engine settings when I get home today, maybe a turbo pressure increase will be enough.
If there are a diesel and eletric variations of the XF GT, why not the XR GT? Do not worry, I have the solution!
Introducing the XR GT 2.0 Di-T (thanks to [OD]Jardim for the name idea hhh) and XR E-GT! The former being powered by a 2 liter turbodiesel inline-4 making 137 bhp and 305 Nm to the rear wheels; the latter being powered by a small eletric motor, producing 157 bhp and 279 Nm, also to the rear wheels. Both will also come with unique sets and a taxi sign for any roleplay purposes.
They are very similar to the regular XR GT in terms of specs. Now the nimble rear-wheel-drive demo car of LFS has 2 twins!
Petrol, diesel or eletric? The choice is yours!
Feel free to leave any feedback below! Any visual updates (custom skins, any special bodywork, etc) will follow suit.
This mod is incredible! But uh... only the 3rd brake light is working. I was doing a chase in [TC] CityDriving One and the cops mis-judged my braking most of the time due to only having one brake light. Is it possible fix this or...?
If the game looks too "colorful", it's because I use ReShade for LFS.
An insane mod! I'd say its more of a Japanese RB4, since the stats are pretty similar. But do you really need 600hp to have fun? Survey says you don't!
This mod is a dream to drive! Only the rear likes to slide out a lot, doesn't matter the changes I make to the set. Maybe something to do with the suspension?
Anyways, great car to drive.
And indeed, this was in the first 10 or 20 mods to be made if I recall correctly. Not sure if the devs would make an exception for this mod, then more people would ask for even more "exceptions".
And thanks for the screenshots! I will use a few in the next update. Hopefully I can bring a good amount of new content for the mod.
Speaking of the approved mod status, I honestly doubt it will ever get to said status, I believe it needs a 4 star rating to begin with :/
I am still planning to add more stuff onto it, like a lightbar (for cruise servers) and a rollcage (or a completely seperate mod, with rally-focused accessories).
I believe I can make it, but not in its entirety. As Scawen said, configurations only can change the visuals. I can't change tire size and car weight. I could add a roll cage and a different bodykit for rallying though.
I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to actually add the custom interior to it... the editor kept replacing the custom one with the original interior file. And as you can see, I found out a way to add custom interiors. Maybe I had downscaled (to 512², original is 1024²) the file size on purpose while trying to figure out how to add it to the car. I will upscale the file and add it in the next update. It will come with more visual upgrades [and a set surprise ] tomorrow.
I am creating a replica of an old american "boat", the Pontiac Ventura. I got the model from https://sketchfab.com/3d-model ... 41c9544d49c186421c3a95bb4
Currently, as you can see, it is far from finished, so far I got the engine, gear ratio, tire size and engine sound dialed in, in the next days I will get the remaining vehicle data dialed in.
Maybe change the actual specs a bit? This is a 3-speed manual with around 210 bhp of power and 530 Nm of torque to the rear wheels. Not sure if a 3-speed is the best thing.
First of all, sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
Regarding the clutch, I did try using sequential in the car. I wasn't the best of ideas for this car; and I think that putting a sequential w/ ignition cut or a paddle shift gearbox is overkill for a car like this. So I reverted to H-pattern.
Regarding the bodywork, I am changing everything. The wing, the rims, the bumpers, etc. About the rims, I don't think that adding lugnuts would make a huge difference in looks, we'll see. And I am going to add different visual configurations, w/ spoiler, w/out spoiler, etc.
About the interior, yes I also am going to change the interior. Btw, do you think the gauges are any decent, or do they need to be changed aswell?
Right now it is very WIP, I still plan to add some stuff to it in the future, such as: -spoiler/rear wing from scratch
-some badges
-some more fitting rims
-a better 5-cyl sound..? I've been given some feedback about the sound not being that good...
I don't have any experience regarding 3d modeling, so maybe I'll borrow the rear wing from some other vehicle. And yes, the side of the wing is horrible. pls no bully
Leave your feedback about the mod in the comments below, that'd be appreciated!
Now whenever I return to the track after pitting, the gauges simply disappear, to make them reappear I need to restart LFSLazy.
Any fixes for this bug?
