it has pretty good physics, and i had the chance to test some of the other cars in lfs some while a go. Not that impressed. I expected more. And as a pretty good driver i can tell you that there is room for improvment in lfs.

Not to long ago i`ve found one game that could put LFS in the dust bin, if only it would be made for the Windows PC. Unfortunetly it`s only for the XBOX 360. I know it would cost 15 times the cost of LFS (both the 360 and the game) it`s worth it. 300 cars and a lot of tracks, including Nurburgring. Compared to LFS wich has 21 includinng VW`s SCIRROCO and 6 tracks with a couple variations each, i`t worth the extra money, considering some thing are beter than LFS, including damage, and particle system.
For those who are intrested the game is called Forza Motorsport 2. It also has tuning posibilities, and it can be used for drifting. For me it is beter than LFS. Further more Forza Motorsport 3 is due before 2010 and it`s expected to have minimum 400 cars and 100 diferent tracks.

Get real people, 99% of your request are NOT going to happen. Maybe if someone finds a way to modify the game, and the devs do not realease a patch to prevent game mods.

Well i`ve been busy.. exams .. tomorow i`ll finish the last, and get back to work.

I unfortunetly found a bug. I cannot use them sometimes in windowed mode. The screen locks. Still haven`t found the problem. And i also have to finish those m6 dials, wich are a complete headache.

I will make you an archive that you will just have to extract to your main lfs folder with the ones i made. Have just a little patience until i finish the M6 dials i`m curently working on.

There are still some issues with the GT-R`s fuel indicator light i`m still working on it, and for G!NhO i`ll have to modify the warning lights.

The gauges are set for a screen rezolution of 1280x800, exept the Veyron set.
Also, i`m looking for a better font to use for the gear indicator.

I am curently working on a custom GT-R style gauges. This is just a preview of the final result, wich will probably be somewhat different. I am also planing to work on a Veyron, Vectra OPC and Octavia RS set as well.
If anyone can post high resolution photo of car dials, please do so. Feel free to request and suggest improvments . I can also create custom skins.

yeah, but still he`s 14 and he drives a 450 hp impreza. as for the ensurance, if i didn`t read the table wrong it is about 200 euros. The price is about 700 RON = 7.000.000 ROL. 1 Euro is 36000 ROl/3.6 RON so that is about 200 euros. But i probably read the table wrong.

I will check and tell exacly what is needed to ensure a car. You wold be surprised to see what cars are driven here by people under 20. Crossfires, Audi A6, Audi A8, BMW 5 series, Audi RS4. I also read in a magazine once about a 14 year old kid that owned a triked out subaru wich he only drove on private roads. I am still wondering how did his father gave him the money for such a car.

Can`t quite choose. Curently i am playing both. In my opinion the best game would be a combination of LFS (car control) NFS(graphics) and GTA

That is weird. Here It`s only about the value of the car and the engine size if i am not mistaking. They do not ask the age of the driver.

Ok, i agree, it`s a matter of taste, But the graphic elements would not be such a bad thing making the game look even more realistic. Also i can`t understand people that do not like tuning. It`s a great way to make a good car beter. As for the old cars that have been brought back, mustang, challenger,camaro, they are all muscle cars wich every body knows they only go straight. Personaly i`m with german and japanese cars. The rest can`t keep up. In my opinion at leat.

Look i don`t know how it is in yhe Uk, but here the car is about 38000 euros whith all the taxes + about 1000 euros an year maximum to ensure it. As it is payed by my father because i will share the car with him you can say i can afford it.

i will post a pic as soon as i get the car. if it will be the evo ix

2 months until i can get a driver`s licence. I will most likely be driving the 2007 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX.

When it comes to graphics and sound and gameplay need for speed in a milion time cooler. Today it`s all about tuning and street racing. Lfs is about an era wich not many pay much interest in. And that`s where need for speed is better. It may not have the control like lfs, but the rest is better.

Still. Personaly i think that the only good thing about LFS is the realistic control. It`s beaten at every thing else by many games.

If the AI are so rubish, why did the devs implemented them in the first place? Personal i hate playing on the web or with AI. I just love to drive around alone and try diferent things. I`ts kinda the only reason why i play LFS.

The 2006 renault master has a max lock of over 36 degres. It`s about 42-43. I know because my father owns one . so .. if renault done it . maybe the devs can make it two.
