Glad I'm not the only one who thought "Ugh, headcrab!" That looks disgusting.

True, but they're no more ugly than normal bodykits anyway. The interior design is pretty cool though.

Got this the other day, it's like TDU with customisation and I love it. Made the ultimate Focus RS lookalike chavmobile too...

Seriously, buy this instead of NFS. At least the physics in this "make sense", even if they're not realistic.

AFAIK, the Clarkson music is by some production company or other. I emailed them once asking where I could buy/download the music from his last DVD and they never replied so

I'm only in act 1 but I love it, the freedom and the feeling of being there really make it an experience. But then, I loved Assassin's Creed too so...

Tokio Hotel nominated for Best Ever? They've only released one English album... Good music though, even if they're a bit (very) weird

Rick should win it!

Ooh, might get this. I loved MC3 on PSP, even though the low res made it nearly impossible to navigate.

On a random note, I always thought Lerts was someone else's alt account created for a laugh?

Thanks, looks like the Micro RS4 is the one for me then. The 1:10 Tamiyas are too big tbh

I'm getting an MX5 in a couple of years when I can afford the insurance, a FWD Puma is just fine right now
Any RC Drifters out there?

So, I'm looking to buy myself an RC drift car. My only requirements are it's electric, comes Ready To Run and costs under £200.

Ideally I'd like one which I can use indoors, which led me to this HPI Micro RS4:

If I considered a 1:10 model, I've found a Tamiya Silvia based on the TT-01 chassis or the HPI E10.

Any opinions on my choices or decent cars, especially 1:18 size, would be appreciated

Give it another chance, mate. I hadn't played LFS for months until I picked it up again a few days ago. Yes, I've spent a lot of time on Autocross/Drift servers since I got back but it's fun.

Quote :A modern Fiesta isn't a light tiny car anymore and plus that tiny engine hardly produces any bhp really. It should do 0-100 in 13 seconds you know.

They were relatively light until the 2002 Mk6. And a 0-60 time of 13s is pretty good compared to heavy modern 'hatchbacks'- for example, the Mazda2 1.4 does that- and most of its competitors at the time (most of who were still using 8v).

When I had a Fiesta with the same engine, it did about 35mpg without motorway driving, so I'd wager 32mpg is pretty average considering it revs quite high at 70mph. It needs a 6th gear damnit

And it did feel nippy at the time, but now I'm used to the Puma it does indeed feel a bit sluggish-er

+1million for a country road, as it's something that all games seem to lack, yet offers some of the greatest experiences

That UKRally track is in RD3? Cool, I got that game a couple of days go.

Get the Sennheisers, but make sure they're from Amazon NOT the Marketplace to avoid fakes.

I have a set of in-ear Senn CX300s and they were well worth it. If you don't want to pay a premium for Shures, the only real choice is Sennheiser.

Quote :Just bought some Sennheiser HD555. You cant really travel with them, but the quality and comfort is amazing! Im not overly into my music but even I can notice the difference in sound quality.

I know what you mean, my 595s still blow me away every time I put them on.

2006-Summer '08: 2002 Ford Fiesta Freestyle with 1.25 Zetec.
Quick for the engine size and fun for a spirited drive.

Summer '08-Current: 2001 Ford Puma 1.6
Feels effortless around town, quick on the straights and the grip is immense on the twisties. My first 'sport coupe', love it.

Fiesta and Puma side by side

Next: Mazda MX-5 in 2 years hopefully...

Quote :Speed kills...

Speed doesn't kill, inappropriate speed for the conditions kills. Whether 120mph on an empty freeway is inappropriate is a whole other issue.
