Quote from RiddinGT :
The only reason why they dont drift in most Motorsports are the Tyres. Cause they drive too many rounds and need to safe there tyres.
But on Mountain you race Max. 3 Minutes so Drift is a good option to drive good times on a Mountain, even if not that easy.

to much initial d man, too much... go drift on wtac and see how you do against the other people.

It's not necessary to remove this thing. You need to maneouvre it out, it will come out, just use your head. I'd personally do everything to avoid removing that, as I'd be too paranoid to drop something in there. And you'd need to drain the oil that way.

Yeah friend came over to sort the shit out, the axle from the gearbox had to be pulled in, didn't even see that it was popped out.. anyways, the gearbox is junk. Differential was all jammed and made noise.
Now looking for a new gearbox.

More of it.. I have tried rotating the gearbox upwards and all that, still doesnt make the clearance

Anyone here know how do I get the gearbox side driveshaft hold off, or whatever its called..?

This is pic of a driver side one but it's the same on the other side of the box, and its blocking the way of gearbox coming out.. havent figured out how I remove this piece..

Quote from KiRmelius :The tricky part is to put it back in, quite difficult to put the shaft in the clutch disc when you have no lift and do it by hand.

yep, that's where it comes handy to have a friend to support from the front, and it is easier with the front off.

Quote from G!NhO :Yeah makes it easier to acces it... To take out the gearbox you have to take the enige and subframe out too i believe.

This. Makes it whole a lot easier to take the gearbox off. Engine can stand there but it needs to be supported. I'm doing this 50cm off ground on car stands.

Quote from Migz :I had my clutch changed on my Mk3 Golf a few months ago which involved taking the gearbox completely out. Sat there and watched it be done and the front end never came off, nor did the engine. And it was done in 4 hours too.

Yeah, car probably was high off the ground to make it easy to be worked under it? I don't really wonder why you didn't do the work yourself... (something to do with your retardness ive come past to see)

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :Could be because you don't have to take the front off, only bad mechanics do that. All it takes is a bit of intelligent thinking to manoeuvre the gearbox out of the sub frame. It does requite some upper body strength though as you can't get away with using lifts.
.

How does it make me a bad mechanic to give me a lot more space to work on and makes the job a lot easier? Front comes off in two minutes, now why I wouldn't take it off to make the work more comfortable?

I love to be the party pooper and I dare to say that all the good quality textures are ripped off of the people who he can't credit, he has just played with saturation and exposure

Looks ok but it's not you who should be credited for..

Took the front off to make more space. Differential is done so I'm taking off the gearbox and probably have to find a new one to fit in. Hard to find any decent used ones, and new one probably costs more than my wallet allows it to cost..

Quote from mp5cod :Thanks! quick question. why isn't there any online action that im allowed to join? servers that allow the content that i purchased?

cargame.nl s1 server might be the only one that sometimes has ppl in it. LFS is dead as we know. don't do the mistake of buying s2, do it when or if the 3year old patch is released.

this is one of those moments when I really feel like "are you ****ing kidding me". seriously, you people crying about if one wants to keep identities to himself and don't want to share everything on internet? wow...
it's like you are tring to force me to show license plates when you don't do shit with the information (or do you?)

it's not like I'm scared of someone stealing it. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was going to be stolen after sharing shit on internets.
Russian and estonian scums surrounding you (no offense to decent estonian people)... stealing everything they can get their hands on

Quote from Nathan_French_14 :Why do you keep blurring your number plate?

I don't think you have to worry about someone stealing that thing.

Why wouldn't I? I don't see a reason why I should post my license plate here. Better safe than sorry. Like illstyles said, common sense...
