havent played LFS for ages, just wanted to know how everything in the LFS world is going?

Devs is there upcoming news perhaps? Like a new LFS version in the making? just curious.

As you may have noticed i have not updated my snow/night/desert mod etc for a while.. But i heard it works for patch Z also.

If there is a new LFS version coming and my mods get incompatible send me a PM and ill try to update them if i have some spare time..

I'm lazy lately also having a new oldskool hobby (i'm part of dutch amigascene now), Commodore Amiga's 23 december Amiga meeting in Netherlands woohoo. reliving the old days.. Making demo's and music remixes.

how is NFS Underground 2 "realistic" ?

I do have to agree that this NFS is the only good one of the latest series..
Best NFS are the old ones like hot pursuit, especially the cool music tracks.

Well i mostly just leave the CD in the drive.. its not bothering me at all.

I bought GTA4 but..

GTA4 cracks wont work unless there would be a proper one but as far as i know they all have the shaky cam boobytrap in them and automatic car driving. (Game recognizes the crack and activates those boobytraps on purpose making the game unplayable). I find this funny actually

Hello guys.

I also bought the great and buggy GTA4 for PC.
I had the famous missing textures problem at first, then when it worked i had the famous missing textures after 20 mins of gameplay again. And then i had the infamous blue screen nvlddmkm.sys stop error blew up my gfx card whatever lol with 180.84 forceware drivers..

Cleaned out the dust in my PC and seems to work ok now.

In XP it actually runs more stable then in Vista.

Leave the SuperFetch Service enabled in Vista (disabling it may cause problems).

No physics, if you want to make it feel like a slippery road then choose Normal/Hybrid/Knobbly Tyres.

Tyres works the same as normal LFS, im not a programmer

Seriously , Routers are so weird. better NOT to have 1 at all.. Anyway i got it to work now with my LAN IP. i did not set it up in the router but in Windows XP itself Can you believe this crap lol.

This way it changed something in the Speedtouch 716 Router. But its not visible when you just access the router by your browser. The Asus WL-500W is not the problem.

My Speedtouch shows the following Event Log when i create Server rules in Windows XP as shown in the screenshot above.

Again you cant see the actual LFS Server settings in the router. only this logs shows something. Also that " No such entry in array" is kinda strange..

Like i said. Speed is definately not the problem.
Anyway i fixed the problem by Assigning the original IP Address to my Device/Computername.. Which means im not using a LAN IP Anymore but the Public IP of my ISP (XS4ALL.NL). I configured that in the Speedtouch router.. Which also means its not a problem of the Asus WL-500W but the Speedtouch/Thomson 715v5-WL router

Hi Guys.

I've been trying to figure this out for a while but cant get it to work.

Let me explain my current situation.. i live on rooms.. with about 30 people.

We have 1 internet connection shared over all these people. Using 2 routers, from the ISP to the SpeedTouch 716v5 and this one connects to another router a Asus WL-500W (This one sends a wireless signal all over the place, im the only one with LAN-Cable connected to this router). Both upgraded with the latest Firmware.

Also its not a speed problem, i have full speed and very good ping. On both routers the firewalls are disabled.

I have set the ports properly on both routers like shown on Port Forward.com

it still does not work. My server does show up in the serverlist and i can type stuff like /w pb .. it responds to that and all. but no-one can connect to my server they all get a Guest-Timeout.. Even when everything is properly setup.. it still blocks something and i firmly believe it has something to do with 1 of the 2 routers.. maybe its just incompatible with eachother..

I can join and play on other LFS servers fine tho.. so i have no client-side problems.. only server-side..

Any router-expert.. help me out thanx in advance.

I updated my Desert,Snow,Night and futuremod to make it compatible with Patch Y and i made this Autumnmod so i'm kinda done with it for a while :Eyecrazy: , and i catched a fever it sucks. Everyone has it here its the weather in The Netherlands bah.
