I think that too much information about setups is available. Fact is that all the setup information is freely available in any raf file anyway, so the Hotlap Analyzer does nothing new in that aspect, just makes the information more accessible.
In my opinion setups should be encrypted in the future.
Nope, fastest laps aren't specifically displayed on LFS World.
What you could do is manually check the lap times on the Race details page, ie.: http://www.lfsworld.net/?win=r ... racing&raceId=2746336
Very time-consuming though...
Edit: just re-read your post and realized that my advise wasn't really necessary.. :X
Damn that's right yeah! Sometimes I can explain what I've done in literally one sentence, while it's taken me a week to actually program it! Makes me feel stupid
Without wanting to sound as offensive, I really do agree with what Ian says here.
I really can't believe the only reason for Eric not to have finished all interiors is just "that it takes time"... There must be something else going on? Is he secretly working on something big that we're not supposed to know about yet? Or is my assumption that Eric is a full-time employee for LFS incorrect?
In the Miscellaneous Addons section on this forum I see very nice interiors being produced with the same pace rabbits produce posterity.. Of course I understand Eric will have to be smarter in his designs to minimize GFX stress, and that changes in his design have to be synchronized with Scawen's physics calculations, etc. but is that really that big a factor? Do we all underestimate the work that needs to be done? Where is the bottle neck that we don't see? If that could be explained it would take away a lot disbelieve.
Don't get me wrong though, the new interiors for the cars that are done look incredible and the lfs.net background image is simply beautiful. But I share Ian's dissapointment / astonishment about the production rate.
I hope I don't sound like a big whiner here, and hope even more that some of my honest questions can be answered
One of the movies I shot with my phone (.mp4) during the team meeting we had last weekend, seems to be corrupted because the SD card got full during filming.
I've tried some applications already, but none worked so far.. Anyone who can hint me to some kind of repair program? Or is there anyone here who thinks he can fix this? The reward is the scoop of quite a funny movie
I have the movie uploaded, please tell me to pm the link if you think you're up for it!
Better than any player I have seen in the tournament so far, really! He's almost unstoppable in his rushes forward, then always finds the right player to pass to, and that third goal was very classy too (even though Ooijer didn't look too good there..) And Kolodin definitely the best defender I have seen so far. Ruud van Nistelrooy hasn't been able to pick up one single ball without Kolodin breathing in his neck. Plus he had some very nice efforts towards the goal!
Quite the contrary on our defensive side, where Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko and Zhirkov got all the space they had wished for. Many times I've seen there was not a single defender in a radius of 5 meters at the time they were passed the ball.. can't believe no one saw this or was capable of turning the tide. With such lethal attackers, even 1 meter distance is too much!
Fair play to the Russians! They were better from start to finish, just incredible... really made it impossible for us to get into the rythm of the first matches and hit us where it hurts most (oh my, was our defense poor!!). Fantastic attractive offensive football with some great players (Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko, Kolodin, wow, wow, wow!)... So great job, well deserved win, I hope they will win the tournament!
