my first incounters with lfs was about a year or so ago when i found lfs deno version X played it for like 6 months and then thought sod this i cant get online. so i searched google and found the lfs main side signed up got a pay pall account set it up sent ae cheque to lfs waited two weeks for it to clear re down loaded version Z ( from one of the mirror sites used by lfs) and bingo

new version, better everything fro graphics upwards etc

but i think i need to get a new pc with higher specs than my laptop

hmmm it was nfsu2 for ps2 then got it for the pc a few years later ( yes it sound dafted but i did not have a ps2 till 2003, did not have a good enough pc till 2005

hasany one got any in car cams?? on the GUI there is 3 buttons for incar, front and rear. any one managed to create anything for them??

DMR developments International Championship

DDIC is looking for drivers of all abilaties to take part in a beta championship.

What is DDIC?
These events are for Beginners and Experience Racer who want a bit of fun or players that do not have/ or who’s Internet is to slow to handle online gaming. (Yes! Some people do still have dial up internet connections)


Each DDIC Event is played on Single player game. And a replay is to be submitted to the race control

These Replays are then watched by Race control for any mistakes and any rule brakes as stated in the DDIC general rules

What! You dont play against other onilne people?

that is correct asstated above it is played in Single player mode Against the AI racers(bots). yes i know most people say that you cant race against the AIs but iv found you can they do make mistakes and a lot of them.

How do we score Ponits
well ponits are award by the following stages

• Where did the racer finish?
  
• what was their total time?
  
• what was their best lap?
  

race control will then place all racers that are taking part in to a main standings table. and then depending on your skill you will be put into abeginners, modarate or pro driver standing table.

Please remember it is a fun Championship and Penalties will only be given out in very Extreme conditions.

I dont really like the Idea as its a Simulator. and ragging the cars around a track is not racing. you need to practise to get things right and they dont come over night* and all racers in reall life make mistakes and crash( aka karting/ F1/ WTCC/BTCC. oh and when driving around in reall life and you hit a wall what happens?? ............... it takes some damage depending on the force of the crash


* Iv been racing on here now for about 6 months or so and when i race online I get laped about 3- 4 times beacause I try to keep on the track and not ver off the track in to asand trap or wall .

this is My opinion so please all players/ racers/skinners do not get affended

yes its nice for demo racers to create skins but can you as demos use the skins as demo racers?(that in the game and not in the skin veiwer) but I do think that to be skinning you should really have S2.

If you are under 16 and you want S2 save up and then ask your rents to use their credit/ debit cards to pay for it and then you give them the cash you have saved up for it.

when demo racers say can some one upload a skin or skinz(more than one) to LFSW it makes me very angree to think some S2 racers are stupid enuf to do as the demos ask.

I also think this games has feacures that are only avaible to S2 racers and should not be taken over by the demos. getting there skins onto LFSW for other online racers to Download. I thought that what the Skin thread was for All racers/ skinners (demos/s1/s2) to upload their skin into one of the skin threads.

I know most of this may not make sence but i just had to say something

I think it dependson your Sound card and the speakers you have. also It is very hard to Replicate sounds like this. some things you can do very easaly but most arevery hard to replicate

Iv not really read through all the topic I read the first post and afew others.

At presnt the Auto gears is a help to changin gears rather than atuo transmission ( i use them but trying to use manual ) I found you can use the manual keys anyways for down shifting (or keep hold of the acceletor and press the brake key/pedal)
