love a litre twin, but love v4's more

next bike, prob a cheap(less then a grand) 600 or something, maybe a 500 commutor, to turn my nc30 into a 1 off endurance rep special.full track bike, with a numberplate. no mirrors or indicaters, digital dash, quick release bits and bobs, lightweight everything....gonna be expensive, but itll be mine

its a skateboard....a longboard to be semi exact. a long plank of wood with wheels.

i used to skate(inline) so im aloud to insult the gay on a tray, wank on a plank etc. lol(just joshin, lol)

trust, i know people, and i could find one within 3-4 months. the rc30 that is, a 35 would be a bit harder.

if its for really giving it some, and obviously a sports bike, and you say your intrigued by the twins, its a simple decision, either the mille, or the sp2.

the ducati, although better then previous models, still has bad electrics. youll need to take out a stake in AA or RAC, lol.

get a test ride on both, see which you prefer. im a honda man, always have been, prob always will be, but the rsv is still a very good bike, and very un italian in its behaviour.

looking for a new bike atm, so i can get mine off the road and really start work. just something cheap.
no car licence at the mo, but im going into the army soon, so they will sort that.

the sp1's fuelling was quite bad, and the suspension was too hard for the road, but the 2 had it all sorted out, better fueling etc. tank distance is bad on it though, but not as bad as a firestorm.

you could really push the boat, but itll take a good few months to get, a rc30/35. great bikes, best road bike ever made i would say, and timeless looks.

could go the way of a tl1000 aswell, maybe a tuono, or get a supermoto, as they are great fun.

think what you really want froma bike, how many miles you ride, etc. then think what bike can do what i want.
example, a sp2 isnt great for touring, but it can be done. but for a weekend bike, and track days, bar the new r6, i dont think there is a better bike out there for it.

strictly car drivers, ie;never done anyother tests, bike etc.

constants.....50mph on the motorway, then 50mph past a school.

the badass 1.2 crew.....passed the test within a year or so, and drive about with a 1.2 corsa, fiesta, saxo etc, like they are in a btcc astra. music blaring and paying more attention to ooking right and changing the music then they do the road.....my brother is one of these.

executivs.(sp?) big 7 series beamer etc, racing along at 110mph and right up peoples arses, not a care in the world.

and those who think that bikers will automatically pull over for more room for them....got news, i wont, i pay road tax, so ill take up my road.

yet, ive seen people take note of mini motos and monkey bikes on the road, but almost wipe out a bmw gs.....lol.

TBH, there aint shit that anyone can do about the state of our roads, and more importantly the pillocks driving on them, at the moment.we can say retests, we can say get all car driver to do a bike test(cbt sort) or have a bike section in the car test. we can say all we like, but the problem is, that there are also alot of pillocks out there, who go hooning it about on thou's at stupid speeds then crash, giving a bad name to bikers. then they pick up on every little thing about the incdent, like a recent(this year) crash around me, biker was going a bit quick, but not stupidly fast, but a car went to turn right ahead, the biker went into the side of him as he turned. now there has been a fresh release in the paper, saying that the dark visor he was wearing is to blame, as he couldnt have seen that he was turning. i think thats arse. my darky has saved me alot of hastle with sun glares.

bikers get more bad press then good, and thats how it will stand for a long time, i just get on with my little bit, and help improve the name when i can.

as far as being more visable.....most of the time it dont matter, as ive known people, big blokes at that, on big bikes, going speed limit, lights and hi-vis, and as they come to the crossing, they sorta puff them selves up(like i do, more of an outline) and still been pulled out on.

shit happens, its unfortunate, but it does

get used to it. a classic SMIDSY....Sorry Mate I Didnt See You. ive had 2, one came off worse, ended with a badly messed hip. had alot of nears or they see me at the last min and slam on the brakes...can almost garentee that ill have at least 1 near miss or last min braker.

hope your doing fine, shakes you up a bit, but hop back on and youll get your confidence back.

and everything that is damaged, providing the witness' step up etc or they give/given statements, will be replaced or payed for out of insurance.


at least it wernt your bike, lol.

TBH, I FIND THAT, AND THIS IS JUST A GENERALISATION, ALOT OF AMERICANS ARE ONLY REALLY INTERESTED IF AMERICA, OR AN AMERICAN IS IN IT, AND DOING WELL.(grr, gotta remember the caps lock)

but personally, now been interested in road bike racing....i think they forgot the engines, lol. but most respect goes to them for the dedication.

i can speak clear english, my voice is great, and i have about 3/4 of a seasons experiance, but all split up between 2 years, it all depends on money, and if the bikes fit to race. although i dont watch car racing, i love bike racing, and major is wsb, bsb, ama, motogp, IOM, Macau etc etc.

but time in the evening isnt very easy for me.
